Let's start with the first question. We've got an anonymous WhatsApp from a listener who we're dubbing Maisy. Hi Shanthi and Romesh, I've spent the last three weeks binge listening to Get Up to Speed. Thursday episodes are of course my favorites. Anyway, we need your advice. Two months ago, the most embarrassing moment of our lives happened. My husband and I got caught having sex by our eight-year-old son in the middle of the night. Worse, we think he was standing in our room watching us for a while.

Even worse than that, we were doing doggie. In the moment when he asked what we were doing, we said mommy had hurt her back and daddy was rubbing it with his dick. No, she didn't say that. She didn't say that. I just added that. I added that, sorry. But then our son asked, why were your balls hitting her butt?

I added something that wasn't as bad as the real. Why were your balls hitting her butt? Anyway, we couldn't look him in the eye for a few days. He's never mentioned anything since. Shanthi is a parent. How do we fix this? Should we have answered differently?
