John Melendez (0:01)

The Drew Lane Show, I mean, it's just, I mean, the guy is just awful. He's as boring as fuck.

SPEAKER_2 (0:08)

You're listening to The Drew Lane Show.

John Melendez (0:10)

Drew Lane, huh? I don't know who he is.

You old bat.

Drew Lane (0:16)

That's funny, we were just talking about John.

Just looking at some clips of Stuttering John, talking about how he was going to win his case, back when he was super duper cocky, which is pretty funny to look back at. We might even catch a couple of those clips, because Carl is going to join us a little later. He was looking at a podcast of a couple of ladies who are absolutely beside themselves as to how Shane Gillis even gets on Saturday Night Live, because he was fired years ago, and they bring him back, and he sucks. It's bizarre. Also, I was excited. Mark told me that Pablo Torre has the video from inside the store where Kelly Clarkson was shopping. Does he give it any teaser or any... Oh, man.

Marc Fellhauer (1:01)

Nothing. Nothing. He's got a new episode coming out tonight. But, I mean, actually, he had one tease, which was one still picture from inside the store.

Drew Lane (1:10)

Any predictions? Anybody?

Marc Fellhauer (1:13)

I don't know. I don't know what he's going to come up with. I have a feeling he'll defend the store most likely.

Brandon McAfee (1:19)

I don't know. I think that perhaps the video might show how close the sign is of the price to the actual bird.

Marc Fellhauer (1:27)

It's right next to it.

Brandon McAfee (1:28)

I mean, there could be an assumption there. I don't know. We'll see.

Drew Lane (1:32)

I just want to see if the store really acted that badly, that they deserved to get pummeled by Kelly Clarkson's audience. And I have a hard time believing it, honestly, because I would think, God, I would think I would know Kelly Clarkson if I saw her in person, and I would think they would too. But who knows? I mean, that's why I'm excited about it, because I have no clue.

You don't think I know, but I don't know. I saw Dane Cook's documentary last night. Has anybody taken a look at that yet?

Marc Fellhauer (1:57)

No. What's that on?

Drew Lane (1:58)

It's about his brother stealing.

Marc Fellhauer (2:00)

No, I know that. What streaming service is it on?

Drew Lane (2:03)

It's on Apple TV. It's on Amazon.

SPEAKER_8 (2:07)

You have to pay for it?

SPEAKER_9 (2:10)

God, did I pay for that?

Drew Lane (2:13)

I did. Yeah, it was $4.99.

Marc Fellhauer (2:15)

Yeah, no thanks.

SPEAKER_2 (2:16)

You're rich, you jerk!

Drew Lane (2:18)

Well, you won't pay $4.99. It's a good doc.

Marc Fellhauer (2:19)

No, I pay enough for streaming services already. I don't want to pay for Pay-Per-View.

Drew Lane (2:24)

I thought it was worth it, honestly.

Marc Fellhauer (2:25)

I thought it was really good. Well, it will eventually be on the streaming service.

Drew Lane (2:28)

I mean, I got a little weary of Dane and going through his incredible history.

Marc Fellhauer (2:34)

Yeah, I don't want to see that. I want to know how his brother scammed him.

Drew Lane (2:38)

Well, that's pretty fascinating, I got to tell you. And the brother being on the run, too, with a few million dollars in cash in the car.

Marc Fellhauer (2:45)

Yeah.

Drew Lane (2:46)

Holy shit.

I mean, it's really amazing. How this brother must think Dane is so dumb. And Dane was pretty dumb, to be honest.

Marc Fellhauer (2:54)

I was going to say, kind of.

Drew Lane (2:55)

This went on for a long time. And also, how much money Dane made. I mean, he stole, I want to say like $20 million.

And Dane was left with-

Marc Fellhauer (3:06)

After taxes.

Drew Lane (3:07)

Dane was left before taxes. He didn't pay taxes. Oh, he didn't pay taxes. Dane was wanting to buy this house in Los Angeles. And he's like, yeah, let me see what I got in my account. I may make a down payment or something. And one account had $111,000 in it. Couples had zero.

And he had not paid taxes in years. Found out he owed $6 million in taxes, and he had about $340,000 in all his accounts.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard (3:34)

Jesus.

Drew Lane (3:35)

His brother had spent, I think there's like $12 million missing, but wow, did this guy live it up. And his wife, too.

SPEAKER_4 (3:46)

What did he spend it on?

Gypsy Rose Blanchard (3:47)
