**Zee** (0:00)
Honestly, we really have to have like a microphone in the car though, for all of our conversations. Because what we're talking about...
**May-May** (0:07)
Girl, you're asking me to remember?
**Zee** (0:10)
Oh, fuck, yeah, I know you adore me.
**May-May** (0:17)
Next time, yeah, we...
**SPEAKER_3** (0:18)
That is the sound of her memory.
**May-May** (0:20)
Yeah.
**Zee** (0:21)
Bleeding her head.
**May-May** (0:24)
Oh, we were talking about the mindset that you should have before going into dating. Or just...
**Zee** (0:30)
Yeah, so...
**May-May** (0:32)
Yeah.
**Zee** (0:33)
Yeah. Background on this.
**May-May** (0:35)
Yeah, pretext.
**Zee** (0:36)
I come from a culture that, when you mean dating, it's kind of like a pretext to marriage, right? Versus here, I feel like... Dating means you're just kind of keeping your offensives open.
**SPEAKER_3** (0:55)
Keep going. I gotta edit this out.
**Zee** (0:57)
There's no way I'm gonna keep having to barp every fucking episode. Versus here, especially in the States, I feel like dating just means keeping your options open. So dating doesn't necessarily mean you're together, like you're in a relationship, right? It's kind of like this weird gray zone. And I used to be really confused with it and almost despise it in a sense, because it was really confusing to me. But I kind of understand in a little bit now.
**May-May** (1:30)
Now, with that said, Well, because you have experience that made you realize, yeah.
**Zee** (1:36)
Yeah, because the opposite experience, right? Like I was, I'm a loyal person. At least I like to think. So if I like a guy, then it's really hard for me to like look elsewhere. In that sense.
But with maturity and with, you know, bad experience and all that, I've kind of learned to understand the philosophy behind dating in the United States almost. So yeah, like I was loyal to the wrong person. That went horribly and all that. So all I'm saying is that if you're dating, and, quote unquote, if you have hoes, you know, when you're young, definitely, I think everyone has to go through that stage to really understand what you want and what you need in a partner. But, quote unquote, if you have hoes, at least have three.
**SPEAKER_3** (2:36)
I think three is a good number.
**May-May** (2:38)
I think if you're going to go into dating, you need to have, you need to be talking to at least five people.
**Zee** (2:42)
But the point is, whatever the number, exactly, whatever the number is, each hoe serves a different purpose to you.
**May-May** (2:48)
Exactly.
**Zee** (2:49)
But not what you want, but what you need. So like, one is for the physical, like whether that's, you know, like sexual relations. One is for emotional. So if you have a little, you know, if you want to be emotional with them.
**SPEAKER_3** (3:06)
One is for intellectual.
**Zee** (3:08)
It's, yeah, like it could be intellectual. Another can be like texting or communication wise.
**May-May** (3:14)
Yes. And then another can just be adventure.
**SPEAKER_3** (3:16)
Yeah.
**Zee** (3:17)
You can have like an adventure, like a travel buddy, or you could also do-
**May-May** (3:22)
Ooh, I've never traveled with a man.
**Zee** (3:25)
I'm not opposed to it, but obviously as friends, not like, you know.
**May-May** (3:29)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
**Zee** (3:30)
Like, I want to travel with my future husband, but-
**May-May** (3:33)
I'm like, traveling with a guy, like, I don't, you know, I need freedom.
**SPEAKER_3** (3:37)
I mean, not that-
**Zee** (3:38)
It's the same with girls.
**May-May** (3:39)
Not that I wouldn't have freedom, but I think like when you travel by yourself, you just worry about what you want to do. You know what I mean? And you don't want to have-
**Zee** (3:48)
Okay, we're going off track with this. Sure, we're going to wander back, but-
**SPEAKER_3** (3:52)
Excuse you.
**Zee** (3:58)
She's just growing bananas in the background.
No, but you don't have to, but also even if you do be fucking all of them, all the hoes that you have, it's not a bad thing. Like, I think, one, we really got to get rid of this notion, or this idea around women have to be, like, not experience is good, you know what I mean? Like, being a version is like really looked up upon, if that makes sense. But with guys, the more you have, the more experienced you are, you know what I mean? Even if they're not actually experienced.
**May-May** (4:45)
Yeah.
**Zee** (4:46)
So, I think...
**May-May** (4:47)
Which is why it's so important to, like, when you do go into dating, have those type of people, like, the five people, because it's just like, then you'll know, like, you'll know when you'll know.
