Welcome to Parola Classics. I'm your host, Superfan Giovanni. This is the podcast where we play with the best moments, highlights and fans like the clips from all 17 years of the Adam Carolla Show. If you'd like to gain access to the ad-free archives of the Adam Carolla Show, the Adam and Dr. Drew Show, as well as the newer podcast, Be The Vowel, make sure to check out Adam Carolla's Substack, adamcarolla.substack.com. And if you'd like to request a clip, please email us, classicsat adamcarolla.com. Please note, we cannot play any material from Love Line or the Kaila Sex Adam Carolla Show that ran from 2006 to 2009 that immediately precedes this podcast. Select moments and clips from those shows have been played on the podcast, which we can then play from those episodes as fair use when they come up in old clips. But we can't play long form clips or exact chunks from those shows. Only stuff Adams commented on air and made it to transform it. If you have any questions about Old Love Line or the Kaila Sex Adam Carolla Show, I've been remastering and restoring the archive for both of those shows for over 20 years. I'm almost complete. If you have any questions or need more information, patreon.com/giovanni, I'll help you out.

All right, let's get to the clips.

First, we have Adam Carolla Show 363, featuring Anderson Cowan, Teresa Strasser, Bryan Bishop from July of 2010

Adam Carolla (2:27)

All right, Steve?

Bryan Bishop (2:29)

Yeah.

Adam Carolla (2:30)

What do you got?

Bryan Bishop (2:30)

Give us a made up movie. What's that?

Adam Carolla (2:33)

Give us a made up movie.

Bryan Bishop (2:35)

Oh, okay. I'm on the air already.

Anderson Cowan (2:37)

Yeah, just like the Loveline Calls.

Bryan Bishop (2:41)

Bitter, B-I-T-T-E-R, Twitter, T-W-I-T-T-E-R.

Anderson Cowan (2:46)

All right, we're not putting it on a marquee.

Adam Carolla (2:49)

We get bitter Twitter. All right, T, what do you got?

Bryan Bishop (2:52)

Any thoughts?

Teresa Strasser (2:53)

Oh, my God. Bitter Twitter.

Anderson Cowan (2:55)

Can Mel Gibson please star in this one? I wish that was in the movie.

Adam Carolla (2:58)

How about a romantic comedy?

Anderson Cowan (2:59)

The Mel Gibson film.

Teresa Strasser (3:00)

Yes, definitely a romantic comedy, and this would be sort of the first movie that exploits Twitter as a medium for meeting people with 140 characters.

Adam Carolla (3:08)

Want to put Drew Barrymore in there?

Teresa Strasser (3:10)

Oh, you've got to.

Adam Carolla (3:11)

Yeah.

Teresa Strasser (3:12)

And I think she's got a really cold career oriented friend who is Kristen Bell. She's always uptight.

Adam Carolla (3:21)

Yeah, uptight.

Teresa Strasser (3:22)

Yeah.

Adam Carolla (3:22)

Yeah.

And let's put like Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson in there. And the new, who's the black guy tells the, plays the piano, tells the jokes.

Alison Rosen (3:32)

Craig Robinson. Now, here's not, here you go, okay?

Teresa Strasser (3:36)

Now, occasionally somebody becomes an overnight Twitter sensation like this guy, shit my dad says, right? Let's just say that Drew Barrymore is, started writing tweets about her dating life. And she just was, had 12 followers, just her friends, whatever, and suddenly it just caught fire.

Bryan Bishop (3:54)

She's the bitter redhead.

Teresa Strasser (3:56)

Yes, and she became this huge, you know, she got a book deal and she became this huge Twitter sensation. And yet, she, her whole career was based on just being a single girl and tweeting about all her dating nightmares.
