Hey, what's up, it's John Hansen. Brian Drake and I are back for a midweek Fantasy Points Podcast where we explore the buy low, sell high markets. And a lot of the recommendations now that we're five weeks into the books are really hyper-focused on upcoming strength of schedule. There are, for example, a few quarterbacks and a couple of running backs who have some unbelievable slates of games starting basically now in a couple of wide receivers. And I do have some schedule concerns with some players that I'm willing to sell. As always, thanks for subscribing and throw us a bone with a good review. Apple or iTunes, wherever the hell you're getting your pods and you're welcome.

Brian Drake (0:58)

All across the Fantasy Universe, who feels like wheeling and dealing out there? It's the Fantasy Points Podcast, Players to Trade and Trade for Week 6 Edition. What's up, everybody? Brian Drake alongside the guru, John Hansen. John, I love doing this pod because I get to pick your brain on players that you're looking to move. And now we're in the point of the season where there's bye weeks this week, by the way. Bengals, Dolphins, Vikings, Lions, all on bye. The injuries never seem to stop. Teams are worried they're gonna be falling out of it. Some teams are looking to prey on bad teams. It's a really fun time to be an active fantasy football manager. So I think this pod is gonna help a lot of people this week. How are you doing, bud?

John Hansen (1:39)

Doing well. I do like the fact that we're five weeks in because now I think there's enough data in there to where we can look at strength of schedule. We can look at every position or we can look at a chart that we have, of course, with every position and every matchup and the numbers of fantasy points given up to each position. It's even color-coded, so it's pretty easy. It does take a little while to go through, comb through all the weeds, but we're to the point now where a lot of this trade stuff will be schedule-related. Now, that's not the only factor, but it's the overriding factor because obviously it's all about who you play. Sometimes, as we say, there are seasons within the season. For example, there's one quarterback in particular that we're going to talk about, that it's really about like the next three or four matchups.

If you're hurting, here's a guy that I think can put up good numbers for you. At least the next three weeks, maybe they turn the ship around based on the matchups. Maybe they turn it around and continue having success. But I'm doing well otherwise, as well as I possibly can, seeing my Dodgers down to nothing, very frustrating. They're not bringing it at all.

I think the Brewers are very, very beatable. But real quick, do you want to hear or see or both my impersonation of a Dodger fan in this series?

Brian Drake (3:10)

Let's see it.

John Hansen (3:10)

All right, here we are. Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, we got a rally going? All right, who's up? Oh, great.

Man, it's the greatest player in baseball history. Still in his prime, we're screwed.

That's where we're at. Like we have the greatest player ever, arguably, in Shohei Otani. And I wish they benched them, basically. Shohei Otani, I think we need to re-evaluate the Shohei greater than Babe Ruth narrative, because I got to be honest with you, if I were running the Los Angeles Dodgers, I would bench Shohei Otani for Kike Hernandez, who, by the way, has more postseason home runs in Babe Ruth.

Brian Drake (3:52)

You know what I think is the problem with Otani? He's not betting anymore.

We got to get him in touch with the Grinder, Tom Brawley. Folks, I don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but Tom Brawley is killing it so much at fantasypoints.com.

If you tailed Tom's picks along with Chris Wecht, and you tailed their picks at $100 a unit, you'd be up over $2,000 right now. We're only in week six. Right now, you can get access to their picks at 70 percent off the first month. All right, that's the first month off our in-season betting package with promo code Grinder. They wouldn't use promo code Otani. Trust me, I tried. Promo code Grinder. That brings the cost down to just $52.50 for the first month. Go over to fantasypoints.com. Start winning today. Again, 70 percent off the first month betting package with promo code Grinder.

John Hansen (4:46)

By the way, between you and I, we have this betting tracker thing, and it keeps track of everyone's picks and all that. And I got off to part of the problem is I do this PropPoint show.
