Auburn versus Florida going down the SEC opener. Who has the advantage in this game? Let's talk about it right here inside the Auburn Express.

Welcome on in, ladies and gentlemen. I look forward to the Auburn Express. You got Ike Jones. I'm in here with my man, Kenny B. And turn this up, turn this on. We gon definitely turn it out today. Talk a little Auburn versus Florida.

Kenny B (2:53)

Indeed, indeed.

Ike Jones (2:55)

Kenny, listen, let's get to...

This is something we've been talking about for months. You know what I'm saying? Let's get straight to it. Florida started their season 2-0 as expected. Auburn started their season 2-0.

I think some expected, some people might have thought Baylor was going to give them a... I don't know. It depends on who you talk to.

It was a close game. But let's talk from the Florida perspective. How do you feel about the team versus the expectations? Like, what did you expect? Have they met it, exceeded, fallen short? Where are they right now in your eyes?

Kenny B (3:33)

It's kind of weird because the things that I expected, like defensive line, elite play, hasn't been there. It's hard to... We went against two offenses that are, get the ball out super quick, super fast. So kind of neutralized the pass rush a little bit or a lot. So that's one.

And quarterback play is probably a little bit better than I thought it would be, honestly. I didn't know if Philo was gonna ball like he has been. Again, level of competition. So we'll see. But I mean, the Reeds have been there. He hasn't made many mistakes. The pick he had was the wide receiver's fault. So that hasn't been it. And a thing, an issue that I thought we were gonna have, like I said, quarterback.

Yeah, running the ball, O-line. O-line, I thought O-line was gonna be shaky. I'm not gonna hold you. I thought O-line, you know, some raw been super down on them guys pretty much since he got in the building.

They've been playing good, man. Pass blocking has been amazing. Run blocking has been pretty good. Ball has made plays. So, you know, I think it could be better, but I'm very interested to see how we do against you guys, D-line. Like this will be the real test for me.

SPEAKER_6 (4:57)

Yeah. Yeah.

Ike Jones (4:57)

I mean, listen, the teams that you guys have played so far in the season, let's be honest, FAU, Campbell, you're supposed to go out there and beat up on those guys. You did exactly that. But to your point, Aaron Philo, so far this season, 32 of 42 or 517 yards is 76.2 percent completion percentage, five touchdowns versus the one interception that he had. So your point that interception wasn't really his fault. That was one of them situations where you got to catch the ball, man, and get it out there to you. So Philo has played well versus the competition. But in terms of this offense in general, explosive is the only word I have for watching Florida on film.
