One of the things that I think is kind of cool about MCP servers is you can actually connect the scripts to your local Claude desktop application or whatever else. So basically here, I'm able to ask Claude what is going on with my computer. It's telling me about my CPU usage, it's telling me about my latency, that type of thing. And basically what I have here is I have an MCP server and these are functions that run against the local operating system and is able to pull out information that Claude is then able to use in order to answer my question. So these are tools. Here, over here, I have something called a resource. So basically this is a poem about a snail and a boat. And basically I can ask Claude different things about this particular poem. So think of this as a read-only document, a personal read-only document that Claude is able to answer questions about. And so basically how you're able to add those into your desktop application is there is a Claude desktop config.json file. And all you do is down here, as you can see for the MCP servers, we have the command and then we have the arguments. And so basically here, what this is going to do is that's going to give me the tools in order to interact with my operating system. And down here, I have the snail poetry, and this is going to allow me to answer questions about the snail poetry. So I can come here and I can say, how much RAM is being used?
It's thinking about it a little bit. I am using the free version here, so it'll take a second. So it's thinking about it, thinking about it, thinking about it.
I may have used a lot of tokens today.
I've been using a few tokens on the free version today. It's now sifting currency. Okay, about 110 gigs of RAM is being used. 17 gigs is unused, so you have roughly 127 gigs, right? And so I'm actually able to ask questions about, again, my system or whatever else, and I'm able to do that through these MCP scripts. And then once those MCP scripts are created, again, on my local machine, I'm able to connect CLAWD to those. Yay! Any real technology. But that's not why you're here. That's not why you're here. You're here for the drama. You're here for me to scream about Elon Musk and Tesla. So I think this is kind of interesting with Tesla.
So yeah, Elon Musk is just going to control everything.
Elon Musk has realized the rest of humanity is just not smart enough to be able to keep up with his big brain. So apparently, it now looks like he is just going to capture all the votes for Tesla, which is a bit of a curious thing. So one of the big things you have to understand about corporations is that corporations aren't actually owned by the founder. The corporations aren't actually owned by the CEO. The corporations are owned by the shareholders who own equity in the company. So whether it's a private company or whether it's a public company, there are the people that own the equity. Basically, these are the shareholders. And then there's something called the board of directors. So many of these companies, you have so many shareholders, you can't get all the shareholders. You can't get thousands or millions of people into a single room to talk about anything. So you have what is called the board of directors. So the board of directors basically many times is elected. And the idea is they are supposed to look out for the interest for the shareholders. They're not looking out for the interest of the CEO. They're not looking out for the interest of the founder. They're not looking out for the interest of you or me, to be frank with you. They are simply there looking out for shareholder value. And so the thing is they can fire CEO. So what used to happen in the technology world is you would have a founder who would create a company. They would get it. They would IPO or whatever else. They would start to do some stupid stuff. And then the board was able to fire them because at the end of the day, even though they were founder, even though they're the CEO, they're still an employee as far as the board is concerned. One of the big issues we get to in the modern world, especially with all these technology companies, is that the CEOs, the founders really, the founder CEOs have been able to either capture the board or capture all of the voting rights. So essentially, they become untouchable. No matter how much anybody votes against them, they are always going to win. One of the problems you get to with a company like Tesla, is it does appear, it appears in my little eye, that they have what is called a captured board. And this is something to be very concerned about. So the board is supposed to be independent. The CEO is doing what the CEO does, the board does what the board does. And there's supposed to be a bit, at least a little bit of an antagonistic relationship between the two, right? They should be cordial, they should be nice. I mean, they shouldn't try to punch each other or whatever else, but there should be a bit of antagonism there, right? Because making sure that the CEO stays on track. The problem that you can run into though, is sometimes with boards, either the people that are on the board have too close of a personal relationship with the CEO. Therefore, they just simply, they don't vote honestly, because they're worried about, oh, if I vote against the CEO, and the CEO is my family member, then they're going to be sad. I don't want them to be sad, so I'm going to vote for the CEO, right? That's a bad thing. They can have financial, they're going to be financial stuff involved. Like, well, I've invested in something else that the CEO has done, so if I fire the CEO, then the CEO might kick me out of my other investments so that I'm going to lose money. Or they could just be in awe. Like one of the big problems we have right now with these superstar founders is, again, again, it's this whole famous thing. They're like, oh my golly. It's a problem you can run into as you get to captured boards. And I would argue it does appear that Tesla is a captured board where basically the board does, it appears what Elon Musk wants them to do, right? They bought SolarCity, even when that didn't make sense, right? What's going on with Tesla and solar panels at this point in time? You know, who the hell knows, right? They have the pay packet for Elon Musk, you have a lot of other things going on with Elon Musk, and it really does appear that the board is captured. But the issue though, right? Especially with the Bro-logarchy is no matter how much power they have, they always want more power, right? And having to go through this whole voting process all the time is a real big pain in the ass. So wouldn't it be nice if there was a way that when voting came? So shareholders can vote. So as far as Tesla is concerned, shareholders can vote and their votes do still matter. So one of the things that one of the questions there is how, how can essentially you capture the shareholder vote? If you already basically captured the board, how do you take that a step further? Well, they can come up with a new policy where shareholders are essentially able to agree to vote whatever way the board does literally automatically, right? So basically a question goes to the board. What would normally happen is that there would be a vote of shareholders for large problems or large issues, right? So now basically people are able to check off and say, I will vote with whatever the board wants.
