Hey, before you skip ahead, let me quickly tell you about my good friends over at Game Time. I love the Game Time app. If you need tickets for a sporting event, a concert, there's only one place to go, and that's the Game Time app.
NFL, NHL, NBA, in full swing right now. Of course, combat sports never takes a break, and so if you need last minute tickets, they are the place to go. All you need to do is download the Game Time app, create an account, and if you're a first time purchaser, use the code HELWANI and you get 20 bucks off your very first purchase. Again, create an account, redeem code, HELWANI, H-E-L-W-A-N-I, 20 bucks off, courtesy of me and my good friends over at Game Time. The absolute best of the business, that interactive map is great, I love them, and I know you will as well.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Ariel Helwani Show.
SPEAKER_1 (1:06)
Back in your life on this Tuesday, October 27th.
SPEAKER_3 (1:14)
And 26th, hello again, everyone.
SPEAKER_4 (1:18)
I sure hope you're doing well.
SPEAKER_1 (1:19)
It is great to be here on a lovely Tuesday afternoon in New York City. As you can tell, we are in the Halloween spirit here. Halloween is always very fun in New York, really anywhere in the world. Although I'm still unclear as to whether or not Halloween is celebrated outside of North America.
Do they celebrate it in Venezuela, Andy?
SPEAKER_5 (1:42)
Kind of, but most people think it's brujeria.
SPEAKER_1 (1:46)
It's what?
SPEAKER_5 (1:47)
Brujeria.
SPEAKER_1 (1:47)
What does that mean?
SPEAKER_5 (1:48)
Witchcraft.
SPEAKER_1 (1:49)
Witchcraft?
SPEAKER_5 (1:50)
Yeah, Venezuela is very Catholic. They don't love it.
SPEAKER_1 (1:54)
Wow. Okay.
SPEAKER_5 (1:55)
More mainstream now though than when I was a kid.
SPEAKER_1 (1:58)
Do kids go door to door?
SPEAKER_5 (2:00)
So, the fun story, I used to go and let people know that we were going to come trick or treating, and more than once I got told it was the devil's work.
SPEAKER_1 (2:07)
Wow.
SPEAKER_5 (2:08)
So, yeah, it wasn't very fun in the 90s.
SPEAKER_1 (2:11)
So, you were shunned? Yep. Wow. Okay.
Pizzi claims that it's a holiday that originated in Ireland. I don't know if I believe him. We miss Pizzi around these parts. What's going on?
SPEAKER_8 (2:24)
Miss Pizzi, but I actually watched a doc, and there's a lot of truth today.
SPEAKER_1 (2:29)
All right.
Anyway, the vibes are high, everyone's excited, a lot of birthdays this week on the team. Shout out to GC for doing an amazing job with the studio once again. Peace and love, peace and love. We have a lot to get into today, my friends. We have a star-studded lineup, one of our best lineups. Today and tomorrow are going to be tremendous on the program. Back into the show, we're going to be joined by Suga Sean O'Malley. Obviously, he is going to be next. He has to be next for Petr Yan. Prior to that, we're going to be joined by Dakota Ditcheva. Going to talk to her about her hands, about Liz losing to Jena Bishop, the new era starting in 2027 with MVP taking over PFL, and prior to that, in about 30 minutes time, the great John Kavanagh of SBG is going to join us. I do believe his first interview since the McGregor-Halloway fight, he's got some news to share as well. So as far as guests are concerned, it doesn't get much better than that. News and notes as well. We've got a lot to get into.
Some things have happened since we last spoke. I'll also be sharing some of those stories that people share with me on social media about what they love in combat sports today, right now.
What is something that puts a smile on their face? Or someone, a story, a fighter, a fight, an idea, whatever. We'll read some of them, we'll react. That'll be back into the show. A lot has happened to me since we last spoke, since we said goodbye yesterday. And I do want to tell you about all of that, because I had quite the night, my friends. I had quite the night. There's a twist, though. More on that in a second. First, I do want to give a shout out to our good friends over at Cal-She. Shout out to Cal-She. We love Cal-She around these parts. Think of Cal-She as a marketplace where the price on something is basically the odds of it happening. Sports, politics, whatever is going on. That price moves in real time based on where people are putting their money so you aren't playing against a house like you would on a traditional sports book. Trade $25 right now with the code HELWANI, H-E-L-W-A-N-I, and they'll add another 25 buckaroos to your account right away. That's it. QR code there. KALSI, K-A-L-S-H-I, HELWANI, H-E-L-W-A-N-I.
