Into the wild, the Caltier Panther encounters a shimmering crocodile, a lonely love bird, a breathless zebra, and a restless tiger.
Mark Duffield (0:15)
What do you want, Mr. Hagen?
Paul Heath (0:18)
I want my life back.
Mark Duffield (0:22)
On October 23rd, the procedure is causing troubling physical changes.
Paul Heath (0:26)
What's happening to me?
Mark Duffield (0:27)
Look, fear. You have to learn to control it.
SPEAKER_1 (0:31)
In the face.
Mark Duffield (0:32)
I have no idea who you are anymore. Tell me who you want me to be.
Only in theaters October 23rd. We did all.
SPEAKER_4 (0:49)
It is time for the electric moment of the week. Thanks to Verizon Perth. A new era of commercial transport has arrived in Western Australia, and Paul Heath has arrived in the studio.
Mark Duffield (1:00)
Heata?
Paul Heath (1:01)
Duff, a lot of contenders for this week's one. Weren't there?
Mark Duffield (1:04)
No, not me.
Paul Heath (1:06)
Not the Wallabies, not the Diamonds, no one like that. But we did have to go to the second test over in South Africa, and Scottie Boland is just putting on a clinic once again.
SPEAKER_5 (1:15)
Boland in here.
SPEAKER_6 (1:16)
Markrum, Boland! It's always Boland doing it in a spell. And Markrum is so important.
SPEAKER_5 (1:22)
The Pridiers are one for 12 Up here, Boland delivers, Betty, and past is it, S on edge, he's gone! Boland 2 and 2!
SPEAKER_6 (1:30)
He's on a Hectric!
Mark Duffield (1:32)
Brilliant stuff!
SPEAKER_7 (1:33)
Boland into him, Ackerman, beaten, driving, neck out.
SPEAKER_6 (1:39)
Scottie Boland straight away.
SPEAKER_5 (1:42)
An intemperate moment from the debutante opener.
SPEAKER_7 (1:46)
Boland at him again, Rickles, and edges!
SPEAKER_6 (1:49)
A brilliant lead by Renshaw!
Low down to his right, Kerry didn't go, Renshaw did, and somehow he has picked it up just before it touched the turf. A spectacular catch.
Paul Heath (2:05)
Not bad.
SPEAKER_4 (2:06)
Good calling from Jared.
SPEAKER_6 (2:07)
Yeah.
SPEAKER_4 (2:08)
In journalism, right, Heata's saying, because you're confronted by space limitations, you know, the story's got to fit in the hole between the advertisements.
So there's a saying, don't use a big word where a little word will do.
And unless it's unnecessary, unless it's absolutely necessary, don't use the word at all. So a couple of my favourite pieces of commentary. James Brayshaw, 2021 Grand Final, when Melbourne went on the barnstorming run, when Luke Jackson got on top in the middle. And he goes, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. Describing the five goals. It was brilliant.
And Jared Justen, what was it? Beaten, nicked, caught out.
Paul Heath (2:55)
That was the exact process of what happened.
SPEAKER_4 (2:57)
Beaten, nicked, caught out. You can't say it any better than that.
Paul Heath (3:00)
So how do you think they go about getting any sort of a result from here? We obviously need the weather to be turning, but it sounds like it is a little bit, but we need three full days, don't we? And that seems unlikely.
SPEAKER_4 (3:11)
So they need to knock them over quickly tonight or this afternoon, probably for under, I reckon about 170 Let's say South Africa does bat deep and the ball will get older, so batting may get a little bit easier. So I would say for under 170, knock them over. Then we need to make 350, which won't be easy on that deck. And that will take us through probably to mid-day four, maybe late day four.
And then you've got a day and a bit to roll them again. So I think that's the only way it happens, although we have seen in test cricket in recent seasons, some remarkable batting collapses. So there's always that, I was going to say an anomaly outcome, but it's not an anomaly anymore. It does happen. So I think it's possible, but we do need a few things going for us from here. Let's take a break.
Mark Duffield (4:10)
