Patrick DeLuca (0:00)
Have you heard of the Bloop?
Forrest Galante (0:02)
I have not.
Patrick DeLuca (0:03)
This is crazy and terrifying.
So this occurred in 1997 They believe it's the loudest sound ever recorded under the ocean. All across the Pacific Ocean, underwater microphones record this sound 3,000 miles apart.
Forrest Galante (0:22)
Wow!
Patrick DeLuca (0:23)
Here are things that were ruled out. Doesn't match underwater volcanic activity, doesn't match a submarine, doesn't sound like a bomb that went off. They say it's coming from the Southern Pacific near Antarctica.
Forrest Galante (0:34)
So to me, the only logical answer is ****.
Patrick DeLuca (0:38)
No farts. No farts.
Forrest Galante (0:41)
Here we go. Wild Times are in the studio. How are we doing, boys? I'm Forrest Galante. I am the bro-ologist. We got a bro-sner- no, we don't. We got a bro- producer and a bro-fessor here.
Peter Fitzer (0:52)
Somebody commented that my new name is the bro-loser.
Forrest Galante (0:56)
Wow, that's rude. I know. I love it. Real quick, as we get going here, make sure you guys check out Raze by Coyotes. It's the gear that we're all wearing. We love it. They sponsor the pod. We're in it all the time and you can get yours right now. Honestly, though, when you farted on Kyle and I, when we walked in, you were a bro-loser and I wanted to kill you. Yeah, same. Kyle, did you not want to fight him at that point in time? It lingered for maybe seven minutes. I could taste it in my mouth.
Peter Fitzer (1:17)
I thought you meant when you met me.
Patrick DeLuca (1:18)
So glad I was late.
Forrest Galante (1:19)
No, you should have been. Did it taste like Taco Bell?
Patrick DeLuca (1:22)
Or your wife's puss?
Forrest Galante (1:24)
I had... I'll kill you.
I went to Georgia this week.
Patrick DeLuca (1:32)
Is that where you got back from late last night?
Forrest Galante (1:34)
Late last night. I did a couple of cool things. First of all, I'm excited for people to see. We went to famous MLB baseball players home. Ozzy, what's his last name? Albies. Ozzy Albies.
Patrick DeLuca (1:45)
Okay.
Forrest Galante (1:46)
Huge fish nerd.
Patrick DeLuca (1:47)
I know who he is, yeah.
Forrest Galante (1:48)
You do?
Patrick DeLuca (1:48)
Yeah, he's on the Braves.
Forrest Galante (1:49)
Dude, he's a, yes, that sounds right. And he just won not a World Series yesterday, but a regional championship three days ago.
Peter Fitzer (1:57)
He won the Pennant Series yesterday?
Forrest Galante (1:59)
Not the Pennant, he won the division.
Patrick DeLuca (2:00)
They clinched the division.
Forrest Galante (2:01)
Thank you, that. I don't watch baseball, fuck off.
Patrick DeLuca (2:03)
That's fine.
Forrest Galante (2:04)
But what's funny is, rock up to this guy's house, super cool dude, hot wife, all the things you'd expect. Dude, I don't care, I'll say it. Are you there, Kyle? No. No, he wishes. I do.
Dap this guy up. I'm like, what's up, man? Nice to meet you. And he's like, I got three things I love. And I expect him to say like baseball, baseball and, you know, hot chicks or something. And he goes, fish, cars and watches. And I was like, I like this guy.
Patrick DeLuca (2:30)
Yeah.
Forrest Galante (2:31)
And he opens up his garage and this guy has the most insane mega fish fish tanks in his garage.
Patrick DeLuca (2:38)
Oh, wow.
Forrest Galante (2:38)
Half a million dollars easy fish tank that he's built in his garage with.
Patrick DeLuca (2:41)
What's he got in there?
Forrest Galante (2:42)
Dude, he's got this guy. He's such a G, man. He's taken a shipping container, cut the side out of it, put a glass panel in it, and he's got huge. This is it. That's a container.
Peter Fitzer (2:52)
Oh, he's got a video of him making it here.
Forrest Galante (2:54)
It's incredible, man. This guy is so sweet.
Patrick DeLuca (2:55)
6,000 gallon?
Forrest Galante (2:57)
Yep. In his garage. Look at this. It's hilarious. And yeah, he's got Paku in there. He's got Red Tail Catfish in there.
Peter Fitzer (3:03)
Dude, 6,000 gallons.
Forrest Galante (3:05)
And that's one of five tanks he's got. They're not all the size. The others are smaller, but he's got other like 2,000, 3,000 gallon tanks.
Peter Fitzer (3:11)
Man, he really does love fish.
Forrest Galante (3:13)
He's a great dude, man. But then, and we go into as much depth on this as we want, then I went to the Georgia Aquarium because I was there anyway.
