All right, there's this amazing book called Getting Everything You Can Out of All You've Got. I read it a few years ago and it changed my life.
And the reason I loved it was because it basically talks about how to get and make more money using things that you already have.
Coincidentally, today's podcast is brought to you by Business Made Simple. It's a podcast by Donald Miller, who I'm gonna tell you about in a second, but he has this amazing episode that's all related to this book and the things that I learned in this book. It's called How to Make Money with What You Already Have. It's an incredible episode. It talks about all the stuff that I learned in this book. The host is Donald Miller. I didn't know who Donald Miller was up until recently, but over the last 12 months, this is totally by coincidence. It was all separate people. They said, you have to check out Donald Miller. He's amazing. So I'm happy that he's part of HubSpot's podcast network. You can check it out, Business Made Simple Podcast. It's where he coaches you on how to build your business like an airplane, where the cockpit is your leadership, the body is your overhead, the right engine is your marketing, the left engine is your sales. You have to check it out. This guy's amazing. It's called Business Made Simple with Donald Miller.
And so Nikita said something in the group message which he says, I think it'd be an interesting idea to ask myself or to figure out how can I build-

Not even that. You're making it too soft. I remember exactly how he said it. It's like, oh, so what are you doing? What are you up to nowadays? Oh, Sam, you sold the hustle. What are you doing? Shaan, you sold people. What are you doing? Nikita, you're sitting at Facebook. What are you doing? And he just said it straight up.
He goes, I'm just thinking about how I can make $10 million in three months.
Like I, and we're like, what? And he's like, yeah, I want to make an app that generates like $10 million in 90 days.
**Sam Parr** (1:44)
What's going on? We have a good episode. We talk about an app that's going viral, but this app roll is getting written about in a bunch of publications. We actually have the inside story because we kind of saw what was happening behind the scenes early, early on. And so we talk about this guy named Nikita who launched this app that has made a million dollars in like two weeks or something crazy like that. And we tell you the inside story behind it. What else we got?
**Shaan Puri** (2:05)
And he called his shot, which you know we love here. We also talk about a ransom note that we got through email and why this ransom note was one of the best emails that we've ever got and me and Sam live brainstorm and live negotiate how we're going to deal with this ransom note. So if you want to see that, that's at the end of the episode. We also talk about the MailChimp CEO getting canceled and a little debrief of Palmer Luckey. So that's it. Enjoy this episode.
**Sam Parr** (2:30)
All right, we live.
**Shaan Puri** (2:31)
Sam Parr, what's up?
**Sam Parr** (2:33)
Nothing, how's it going?
**Shaan Puri** (2:35)
You know, just the usual woke up, decided, okay, no small boy stuff today, got going. Immediately started considering some small boy stuff and then I remembered there will be absolutely none of that today.
**Sam Parr** (2:46)
What were the, what was it?
**Shaan Puri** (2:49)
I woke up, I was like, ah, I'm a little sore. So I wake up with a complaint.
I'm waking up with a complaint on one of the greatest days I've ever had. Wow, this is not how I'm gonna start my day.
**Sam Parr** (3:01)
Wait, why was it one of your greatest days?
**Shaan Puri** (3:03)
I just like, that's just like a general attitude I have.
**Sam Parr** (3:06)
Do you wanna start off by recapping Palmer Luckey?
Cause after talking to him, I feel like he's kind of the greatest guy I've ever talked to. Kind of the man.
**Shaan Puri** (3:16)
Yeah.
**Sam Parr** (3:18)
Right, is that how you feel?
**Shaan Puri** (3:19)
I thought he was awesome.
Okay, let me just say a word that describes Palmer Luckey. I would say like, independent minded. I think I really respected that. He is independently minded. I felt like all his opinions were his own. You know, people like, they write that shit in their Twitter bio, like opinions of mine, not my employer.
