Tanya Rad (0:10)
Hello, everybody.
Becca Tilley (0:12)
We are scrubbing in.
Tanya Rad (0:15)
Yes, we are. Happy Monday, October the 5th.
Becca Tilley (0:19)
It's hot as hell.
Tanya Rad (0:20)
It is hot as hell.
Becca Tilley (0:23)
It's so hot here. I am in the, I think that everywhere I go, there's a heat wave. I have this fear. I'm going to Rhode Island at the end of the month, and it's supposedly fall weather there, and I have this fear that there's gonna be a random heat wave. All I want is some colder weather.
Tanya Rad (0:40)
Yeah, I could use some cold weather, too. I love summer, and I'm so excited when summer comes, but then when summer's over, I'm ready for fall.
Becca Tilley (0:47)
But it's perpetually summer here. Would you all agree?
Mark (0:51)
It's been a long summer. They call it endless summer in Southern California.
Tanya Rad (0:56)
It gets cold here.
Mark (0:58)
It doesn't, actually. But to you, it does, because you've lived here your whole life. Yeah. Right.
To most people, it's endless summer.
Tanya Rad (1:04)
Tis cold. Tis cold.
Mark (1:06)
It's not. To you, it is. But to the rest of the country, it's not. It's a beautiful, always endless summer in Southern California.
Tanya Rad (1:12)
Mark woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
Becca Tilley (1:14)
That is not true.
Tanya Rad (1:15)
He came in here to fight.
Becca Tilley (1:16)
He said you were grumpy, but I didn't get grumpy energy from you. Thank you, Becca.
Mark (1:20)
I'm not grumpy at all.
Tanya Rad (1:21)
Grumpster.
Becca Tilley (1:22)
No. Are you the grumpy one in your projecting? No.
Anyways, happy Monday. It's October. Haley was like, should we go get some pumpkins? I'm like, will they rot outside in the z? I don't know.
Mark (1:39)
In 48 hours, they'll be moldy.
Tanya Rad (1:41)
Not if you don't carve them.
Becca Tilley (1:42)
We're waiting till next week as it cools down to low 80s. That's your weather report from Scrubbing In.
Tanya Rad (1:50)
Yeah.
Becca Tilley (1:51)
How was your weekend?
Tanya Rad (1:53)
Well, my weekend weekend was great because it kickstarted off with a date night with you.
Becca Tilley (1:57)
Can I just tell y'all trying to get this a friend night on the docket with your date night in place?
Tanya Rad (2:05)
First of all, I would just like to say there was not much back and forth. There was literally, hey, you want to do Friday? I said, hey, you want to do Thursday? You said, no. I said, okay, let me see if we can do our date night on Monday instead. I did not end up taking my volume for my procedure on Monday.
So we had our date night on Monday.
Becca Tilley (2:23)
You know what? I was having to text Robbie to be like, can you move date night?
Tanya Rad (2:30)
It could have very well, you could have moved your date night on Thursday too.
Becca Tilley (2:33)
I didn't have a date night. Well, no, because Haley had just gotten in from the UK and that was our only day off together. So you and Robbie see each other every single day and night.
Tanya Rad (2:41)
So do you guys, more so because we have children.
Becca Tilley (2:43)
I know, but she was out of town.
Tanya Rad (2:45)
Then she came back in town and she's going to be in town for quite some time.
Becca Tilley (2:49)
She went to San Francisco today.
Tanya Rad (2:50)
I'm just saying, it's really the same situation.
Becca Tilley (2:53)
Anyways, we had a best friend date night. And so originally, I had chosen a spot in Santa Monica, which for all of you who don't know, the logistics of LA is quite far for me.
Not ideal for Tanya, but significantly closer for Tanya. And then I...
Tanya Rad (3:10)
But for all intensive purposes, this is a restaurant... What?
Mark (3:16)
Say that again.
Tanya Rad (3:16)
All intensive purposes.
Mark (3:19)
It's all intents and purposes.
Tanya Rad (3:21)
It's not intents.
Becca Tilley (3:22)
Yeah, like intent, like intention, for all intent.
Mark (3:26)
T-E-N-T-S.
Tanya Rad (3:28)
For all intent?
Mark (3:29)
Intents and purposes.
Tanya Rad (3:30)
Intents, but it wasn't intents.
Becca Tilley (3:32)
No, we're not saying that. No, that's a different word. That's, yeah.
Tanya Rad (3:36)
Volume, okay.
For all intents and purposes, this is Becca's favorite restaurant. Like she loves this place, you spent birthdays there, we did your engagement dinner there. Yeah, I love it. I don't particularly like this place. Since when? I would never opt to go there, but because Becca loves it so much, I was like happy to go, I was prepared to go, I was ready to go.
