This week, I connected Claude directly into RedBlood and just let it run as their AIVB product.

And I moved 10 years of data off of Marketo, and the whole migration only cost us $14.21.

We each built this week for eight hours a day, two sessions at once. And by the end of the week, the question wasn't what can we build? It was, goodness, can we even keep up with what we've already built?

Yeah, welcome to The Agents, episode 10
**Jason** (0:23)
Welcome back to The Agents. I'm Jason here with Amelia, our Chief AI Officer at SaaStr. This is the show where we tell you the truth about running AI agents in production, not the demos, what actually happened this week at scale with 21 plus agents. And a quick reminder of the setup, if you're new to it, we're just three humans now in 21 AI agents, running an eight-figure B2B and AI community and business, investing in dozens of B2B and AI unicorns. Our revenue went up 47 percent year over year and is growing again. Amelia get into it and we thank our agents. Every week we get into what's working, what's broke and what you should do about it.

Yeah, and this might have been just the craziest build week yet. Jason connected Claude straight into Replit as our new AI VP of product. I also moved 10 years of data from our marketing automation platform of Marketo off onto Salesforce with the help of 10K, our agent doing the heavy lifting. We also added Claude Design as a third work stream. Lots going on this week between the two of us. We were each vibe coding for, I want to say, eight to 12 hours a day. So a lot, and also in two concurrent sessions all at once.
**Jason** (1:30)
Yeah, call it 20 hours a day between both of us across two people. The build layer got so cheap this year, we hit a different wall. It stopped being, can we build this to can we operate all of it? I don't know.
**Amelia** (1:41)
Well, we'll see. We'll get into the three big ones today. Claude is our VP of product, our 10-year Marketo migration that cost us about $14, and killing a $10,000 a year app in an hour. Let's get into it. You're listening to the Official SaaStr AI Podcast, brought to you by... Hey, everybody. Starting a business can get expensive fast. Okay. One new thing that, and it may be niche for folks, but it actually changed the way we work. Me first and then Amelia. So I was working in Claude the other day, asking the questions about a new app we're building. We're trying to build an app called SaaStr Connect that will connect you folks to the best opportunities. If you're looking to network, you're looking for a new job. More importantly, if you're hiring, if you're a founder, how do you find VPs you don't know? We're going to do it with AI. We're going to have the first agentic way to recruit and meet B2B executives. It's coming. Okay. So we're doing it and I was asking Claude ideas how I could improve one of the features and it said, and we're building it in Replit. So we build everything in Replit and it said, well, do you know you can connect directly with Replit now through our MCP server? And frankly, I haven't found a huge benefit from MCP. I know MCP was the hottest thing at the end of last year. Everyone was launching it. I'm like, for me, what was the point three or four months ago of going into Claude and getting a mediocre bit of my CRM data out? I'd rather just six months ago log into Salesforce or really did, I never did, or today, I'd rather just use Salesforce headless. I just didn't see any need for MCP until magic happened.
Replit quietly launched an MCP beta last week. I don't even know if they announced it. Maybe they did. I didn't see it. All of a sudden, Replit starts running inside of Claude.
I didn't know, okay, so what? I did not. Listen, many of you folks that will watch her or see this are a few beats ahead of me. I didn't get it until it connected with the build I was doing and came up with some new ideas for features to check in with Replit.
