It seems like when I walked in here, it wasn't that long ago, but I think it's been a number of years.

Navy Seal killed bin Laden and lots of other missions I didn't really know about as well. I just sort of knew you from bin Laden, but it makes sense that if you're Seal Team Six guy, you do be in on everything.

**Robert O'Neill** (2:34)
Yeah, I was having a conversation. Well, I was at the McGregor fight and McGregor got hurt. And just how people are saying the comeback is over, they don't see how long it takes to get to a certain spot. When you're in the octagon, it's the years and years of the training, the shitty days, the hard, you know, I don't want to wake up type stuff. It took me essentially 15 years to get to bin Laden's stairwell. Like that's from the moment I joined the Navy to Seal Training, which is the hardest military training in the world, to the deployments with them pre-911, to the deployments with them post-911, to selection for Seal Team Six, which is where they take maybe 2% of Navy Seals with combat experience, put them through a selection course that's nine months long, 50% of them don't make it, then a squadron, then you deploy, and then just mission after mission.
I credit a lot of luck with it, but I was on the mission to rescue Marcus Latrell, the lone survivor, on my first deployment with Seal Team Six. I was the lead jumper to try to rescue Captain Richard Phillips from Somali Pyres, where we left my daughter's Easter tea party on my birthday, Good Friday, April 10th, and 16 hours later, we were in the Indian Ocean. We rescued Richard Phillips on Sunday. Then just going to war, Iraq, Afghanistan, different spots like that, they picked a team for the bin Laden raid who was the most experienced at the right time.

So Captain Phillips, well, they made a movie out of pretty much all of them. I don't know, has there been a capture or kill bin Laden movie yet?

**Robert O'Neill** (3:59)
They made a movie Zero Dark Thirty, which was more about the woman that found bin Laden, which was a great move. I actually watched it last night. Me and Patrick watched it last night. And it was cool. I haven't seen it in a while. War Burton. Yes. The finest voice in the world. I love that guy.

Yeah, but it was about the CA, how they found him and how much it took. And again, people didn't realize how long it took that one woman with the dedication, the seven days a week, 20 hour days. And that was a good movie. They didn't get everything right in the house or especially the human element of the guys that went because that's that story that just the flight in knowing you could die at any second for 90 minutes is that's a story.
