How's it going, everyone? It is week 29 this week, and I'm going to try to go through the biggest movers in junior mining, so the best performers and the worst performers. And I might try to be funny here and there as well. I don't promise I'm going to be successful, and some of that humor might be dark humor, but you should not hold any of that against me, because the market was pretty bad this week. So I think we should blame all of our problems on the market just full time, whether it's going up or down. But it was a joke aside, it was pretty bad this week. Gold dipped below 4,000, although it is back above that now, but it's still down 2.5% for the week. Silver is at $56, down 6.5% for the week. The GDX closed down 4%, GDXJ down 5%, SIL down 4%, SILJ down 4.5%, COPX down 30%, COPJ down 6%. So yeah, it was not a fun week at all. Or maybe if you did have fun, let me know the magic formula, let me know what you're doing, let me know what you're drinking, might become a nation of both, whatever it is, let me know so we'll figure it out. Onto the juniors now though, I'm on mininghub.com to get the list of the movers, and they're the one, so mininghub.com is the one making this video possible by sponsoring it. By the way, they're making it ad free as well. So this is a free to register research platform, specifically for the mining space, which you can use to generate these lists that I've got on here on your own, so you don't have to suffer through my ramblings. Now, top three best performers this week, we have Sanfire Resources that's up 72.1% up to a market cap of $380 million. That happened on about $100,000 worth of volume. It says it's almost eight times its average volume. There was no major news actually about this one, so I'll skip it in the overview later. But second best performer was Strikepoint Gold. It's up 43% now to a market cap of $12.5 million, $365,000 worth of volume, four times its average volume. Carlin Gold Corp is the third best performer, up 40% up to a market cap of $21.5 million.
Did about $100,000 of volume, that's about three times its average volume. I'm also going to cover Mogotes actually, because that's going to fall in my top three when I exclude Sanfire, because nothing really happened. There was no news for Sanfire. Mogotes is up almost 32% this week, up to a market cap of $262 million, after being one of the main or one of the worst performers. Last week, it's one of the best ones. This week, did $5.5 million worth of volume, typical volume for Mogotes though. Adex Mining is down 31% that's down to a market cap of $61 million, and about $530,000 worth of volume. About seven times its average volume, and we had some pretty bad news that will go through later. Antimony Resources Corp is down 29% down to a market cap of $42 million, about $1.5 million worth of volume this week, and that's almost twice its normal volume. And then I'll also do...
I'll say something about Angkor Resources, which is down 25.4% down to a market cap of $48.4 million, $95,000 worth of volume. Typical volume is what they do. I'll also say a couple of words about BCM Resource Corp. Because there's not much to say about Angkor really, because they've got some oil and gas stuff that I don't really understand. BCM Resources is down 25% now to a market cap of $40 million or $40.5, did about $200,000 worth of volume, almost twice its normal volume. So yeah, I'll kind of go through the details here and what moved each stock. I'll actually skip Sanfire because it's not clear to me why it went up this much. Even the exchange requested comments, but the company said they're not aware why the volume is almost eight times higher than the average and why the stock is up so much. So I'll actually do the next three, as I said on here. So Strikepoint Gold, they're apparently one of the largest claim. So it's a name that I've heard it before, but I haven't really paid attention to it. But apparently they're one of the largest claim holders in the Walker Lane trend in Nevada. And they got two main projects, that being Hercules and Coopright. What they did this week is they had news, so they released an updated NI 43-101 technical report for those two projects this week. But they released the reports on the 14th and most of the volume and most of the move up this week actually happened on the day after. The reports also didn't really include anything major, as far as I could tell from my brief scroll through the reports on SederPlus.ca, and you should obviously read that for yourself. They did have a conceptual exploration target, which is basically a formal estimate of a potential scale at the property. It's not like it's a resource, it's not an MRE or anything like that. It's an internal estimation that's based on a combination of stuff, historical drilling, surface drenching, and Strikepoint's own drilling. It was RC programs that they did last year as well as this year.
