Speaking of things that are awesome, we just got done rewatching Hide and Seek.

Hey, Bingo, let's play Hide and Seek. Yeah, Hide and Seek.

Eric (2:03)

Henry, could you tell us what was going on at the beginning of this episode?

Henry (2:09)

At the beginning of the episode, we could see Bluey and Bandit in the backyard, and Bluey asked him, hey, when are we going to play Hide and Seek? He said, we'll play it soon. Bluey is looking around the backyard and sees a statue dog, and Bluey asked Bandit, what does that statue do?

Bandit said, it focuses on not being distracted.

Eric (2:35)

I thought this was really cute because when Bluey and Bandit are laying there, she says, mom, and he's like, I'm not your mom, I'm your dad, which is such a kid thing to do when you're lost in thought, not paying attention to what's going on.

Amanda (2:49)

That is true, kids do that a lot.

Eric (2:52)

Stella, what does Bluey say to Bandit?

Stella (2:55)

Bluey says that not being distracted is easy, and while she's trying to prove to him that not being distracted is easy, she gets distracted by a dragonfly flying around.

Eric (3:04)

Yeah, almost immediately. I love her confidence. Here, I'll show you. Then immediately, Bluey starts walking away and she runs into Bingo.

Amanda (3:16)

That is such a kid thing to do. She's so funny.

Eric (3:21)

Bluey is trying to recruit people to play Hide and Seek, and Bingo is totally keen for it. Amanda, what is the criteria for the parents to get involved?

Amanda (3:33)

Chilly tells Bluey that they will play Hide and Seek, but only, and only if Bluey does not forget, to look for them.

Apparently, it has happened many times before. She absolutely promises that she will not forget, and she will find them. So she begins counting so they can go hide.

Eric (3:55)

Has anything like that ever happened to us with these kids, where we were doing something together, and they just got so distracted when they went to get something, and never came back, that we had no clue what was going on?

Amanda (4:06)

Oh, sure. Yeah, sometimes we would be playing, and then they would run off to the room to get something to be included in what we were playing, and yeah, they would get distracted by something and just be playing by themselves in the room.

Eric (4:20)

And there you'd be standing there alone.

They take off to go hide. Henry, where does Bingo hide?

Henry (4:27)

Bingo hides in a basket of toys.

Eric (4:31)

What about Bandit and Chili?

Henry (4:33)

Bandit hides in the top of a closet, and Chili doesn't know where to hide, so she just hides in the bathtub.

Eric (4:42)

Yeah, in the stand up shower. Bluey counts to 20 and gets ready to come and look for everybody.

Henry, what happens almost immediately?

Henry (4:53)

Bluey is walking and she sees a tennis ball in the floor and she gets distracted for five seconds and then says, don't get distracted, Bluey, and just toss it behind her.
