Be sure to stay tuned until the end of this show. We will answer your listener questions and submit our one move to make ahead of week six for today's show.

I'm joined by three young men you know and love, Mark Dankenbring. How are you today?

Mark Dankenbring (0:50)

Doing well. Adam, got to give a shout out to my grandma turning 100 years old tomorrow. I'll be heading to St. Louis, with the greatest show on turf this weekend to celebrate that. So shout out grandma Marie.

Adam Levitan (1:01)

Yes.

100 Crazy. Grandma Dankenbring. Jack, how are you?

Jack Miller (1:06)

I'm good. Shout out to Mark's grandma. I'm excited for another week of the show.

Adam Levitan (1:12)

And Daigle, how are you, buddy?

John Daigle (1:14)

Doing great. Not going to make it to 100 Can already tell you ahead of time. So lay those odds wherever you need to.

Adam Levitan (1:20)

Agreed. I mean, you have no chance of making it to 100 whatsoever. Me.

John Daigle (1:25)

All for me.

Adam Levitan (1:29)

All right.

Quick note before we get into it here today. The NBA season starts in one week. We cover the NBA with the same intensity. We cover the NFL. Our NBA product is led by Drew Dinkmeyer and Mike Gallagher. If you are interested in the hoops, we have three products at ETR. Best ball product, draft kit product, and NBA in season. So head to establishtherun.com and the NBA subscribe page. For details, that is the NBA product at establishtherun.com.

We had a couple of requests. You know, people, Market Monday is indeed the show that people cannot live without. And we had a couple of requests from people to kind of format this show a little bit at the top here in terms of biggest movers. Now, you know, it's a little different because we're making these moves. So obviously, we think that they are right. Whereas on Market Monday, I talk about whether I think the moves are right or not. But I do think I thought it was an interesting idea. So we're going to try it here this week. One of the biggest movers in our rankings this week is Ashton Gentry down nine spots here to 27 overall continues to play through this ankle thing. And there was a story this morning, or I guess I would call it a report, that the internally graders had considered or will consider shutting Gentry down to try to get his foot or ankle right. That was immediately shot down today by Clint Kubiak, who said Gentry is playing here this week.

He's running out of excuses, Mark. I mean, if he's going to play, I have to assume that he's healthy enough to play. Last year it was the coordinator, it was the offensive line. This year it's the ankle. It's always something by almost any metric, he is the least, one of the least efficient running backs in the entire NFL. So, we came down nine spots here, Mark, where you add on Genti season.

Mark Dankenbring (3:23)

Certainly worried about the efficiency. We saw Genti in week one, you know, post 102 rushing yards on 23 carries. That was good for 4.4 yards per carry against the Dolphins. He also had a receiving line of six catches, 45 yards and two touchdowns. So 147 yards and two touchdowns in that week one game. In the four games since he's averaged 90 total yards and has scored zero touchdowns. He's averaged 2.9 yards per carry in the four games since week one. So I think, you know, the bet on Genti this year was that with Klubiak in town, a little bit of a revamped offensive line that the efficiency was going to rebound after a pretty rough rookie season for him in that regard as well. So, you know, I think we docked him just kind of baking in these injury concerns. You mentioned the ankle injury. I also believe he's dealing with plantar fasciitis, which, you know, caused him to DNP last Friday. And then the Raiders don't have their buy until week 14 So it's kind of a long stretch here of games that, you know, Genti is not going to get just a bye week off here to rest and fully recover. So, you know, the past game involvement is still great for Genti so far. Right now, he has a 29% target per outrun, that's second in the NFL behind only Jamir Gibbs among running backs. So, you know, I think like the volume is going to be good here. And then also with the Raiders, their touchdown production has been heavily skewed towards the pass this year. We have 12 passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, that's an 86% passing touchdown. Split the league averages around 61% passing touchdowns. So, expect more touchdowns to go on the ground here. And then Ash and Genti, you know, has eight of the 10 carries inside of the 10 yard line, five of the six inside of the five yard line. So, expecting that goal line role to continue, you know, we still have Genti as RB 11 here, but the efficiency is definitely a concern.
