Okay, so let me throw over all the random trailers. We had The Other Mummy, we had Resident, I don't like saying it that way, but The Other Mummy, Resident Evil, The Uprising, oh yeah, The Uprising, Ebenezer, Blade Runner 2099, Rings Of Power, and then I will talk about the Lestat, Interview of the Empire, whatever.

Those other ones. Uprising, uh-oh. Oh, I see, I see.

Uprising, you might have seen during, we got it for Odyssey.

Oh, I thought it was a TV show.

No, isn't it the Andrew Garfield trailer? Yeah, no, it's a movie.

Oh, I didn't watch that.

And then I Love Rocky. Did you guys watch I Love Rocky?

I absolutely watched that trailer.

Okay, there we go. Dylan, let's start with I Love Rocky. Oh, sorry, I play Rocky. Let's see what I'm Rocky.

I play Rocky.
We both scripted. I know very little about Sylvester Stallone as a guy. I feel like I've not seen him much. I've never seen Rocky. I don't know, I know what this stuff is, of course, it's a big deal, but I've never seen this stuff. I fucking love this trailer. I think this movie looks like a vibe. I think it looks, it's so meta in a way to do a biopic like this on a Hollywood actor, like making their first script or whatever. I was kind of into the story. I assume this is a true story that he wanted to make this thing.

**Dylan** (1:18)
That seems like a fun story. I think that's quite interesting. I do think that there's an element of this that it looks very cheesy. I think the acting, and maybe that's just how it's just alone is, and I don't have enough of a concept of what he's like and what he talks like. But I think the performance is so wack in a way that seems very fun. This almost feels like the weird Al.

Oh, the Daniel Radcliffe one? Yeah, yeah, that thing. The documentary sort of thing.

Yeah, it almost like it had that. I know it's not bad, but it had that energy for me in a way that seemed like this would, I would just be cracking up watching this thing. And I'd probably learn a thing or two and maybe it'd be weird, but I might watch this before I ever see the original Rocky, which is kind of a crazy idea. But I kind of love this trailer for what it is. I think it actually looks pretty interesting and goofy at the same time.

I don't think they're going for goofy to be clear, but I think that was my takeaway and for me that works.

That'd be wild. That's like how Kirkland's only seen the Disaster Artists but not The Room. That's almost like Juby doing.

Yeah, I didn't dread it seeing this, but I was avoiding this trailer. I'm not a Sylvester Stallone guy in two ways. One, him as a guy, and then this is the same way everybody has these arguments when you're older, right? Or when you're a kid, whatever. When you grew up, you're either a Sylvester Stallone guy or you're an Arnold guy. I was a full on bonafide Arnold Schwarzenegger guy. That was my guy. That was my act. And the stuff like that Stallone did never really talk to me. I was never a big Rocky guy. I wasn't into Rambo. There's lots of things I probably need to rewatch and reappraise. And we're almost the king.
I'm not watching Tulsa King. I'm not watching the Paramount Plus Red Network special.
I and it's funny because it was one of the selections. Rocky was one of the selections on our Patreon GV Day Pick like Retro. So I was like, I don't know how I'll feel about that. But like, I don't mind it because it's like, OK, it'd be interesting to go back. So I but the thing is, I had heard they're making this. And what Dylan had said, everybody I have heard that would watch this trailer really enjoyed it. I think maybe was surprised because maybe they set up. Everyone's like, oh, it's going to be cheesy. But the story about sly making this script is really inspiring and it's really cool. And it is feels like one of those once a million. So absolutely should make it. I just had zero interest in watching this movie. So I was like, I don't need to see this trailer at all. I watched so many trailers. And then I saw Mike when I was like, okay, I guess I'm watching this trailer. And yeah, it looked good. I think if you like sly or you want to know about story, it would be there. I don't think I'm going to because I feel like I know the story enough. It's just a story that's been explained a lot. But I like, unless it's a Golden Geeks pick or it's Oscars, if it's Oscars, then maybe I will around. I don't think it's going to get to that level. I think it's going to be just a very heartwarming go-getter, you did it type of movie, you know? Nothing's wrong with that. So yeah, it's a good trailer, you know? Like I enjoyed it, but I also don't have that connection like a lot of other people do to the Rocky franchise, you know? So from the director of Green Book, there you go, Dylan. That might be another reason because you and I were big Green Book fans.
