You're listening to The Drew Lane Show.

Drew Lane (0:02)

Hello, you guys.

Brandon McAfee (0:03)

What up, what up, what up?

SPEAKER_4 (0:06)

Hey, what's poppin?

Drew Lane (0:07)

We're rolling in the deals. The d.com studios is the day before 9-11, 25 years. Let's get back to a little bit of 9-11 on 2001, from the WIF studios today.

And now there's plenty of other baloney going on too, as always. I don't know, every day.

Marc Fellhauer (0:29)

What a great term.

Drew Lane (0:30)

The Tigers were rain-delayed. And I kept walking into different places watching where the TV was tuned to whatever chicanery they have to get up to while there's a rain delay on the broadcast.

Drew Lane (0:41)

Jason Benetti's favorite thing is rain delay because he can bring in all kinds of-

Drew Lane (0:45)

They were doing games and stuff.

Brandon McAfee (0:47)

Yeah, they were playing games because he doesn't have to call a game.

Drew Lane (0:50)

The ratings go up when there's a rain delay, because of the wackiness in the studio.

Hall Financial is our sponsor. You know, Hall, they're providing the lowest interest rates. We've had about three years, not to mention their 7,000 five-star views, and they're quick. Why don't you go to callhallfirst.com/drew and find out how quick they are. They get back to you in no time, and they close loans in about nine business days or less, and that's fast, and a fast and reliable mortgage process can help make your offer stand out. Fast closings, clear communication, thousands of five-star experiences, and Jerry Chen. That's what separates all financial.

Marc Fellhauer (1:26)

That's a hard worker.

Drew Lane (1:28)

Tomorrow, we'll find out just how Jerry Chen is doing after winning the bobblehead last month. Already? He's bound to be on a streak. Who knows? We'll find out. Go to callhallfirst.com/drew.

Our favorite topic of late, Lindsay Clancy, female juror in the case is defending the lone male holdout saying he wasn't the only one struggling with going along from the beginning.

She had some questions and a couple others did, but she said there were some very large personalities. One who excitedly was filling out her not guilty verdict. I mean, she said she was excited to fill it out as soon as she got it. And they went about trying to convince the others. And this is my first glimpse of, did you guys see the clips of the actual jurors?

Marc Fellhauer (2:19)

I did not, no. Well, yeah, I mean, just who was on that Boston channel yesterday, the old bag.

Marc Fellhauer (2:24)

Yeah, I think that old bag.

Marc Fellhauer (2:25)

I'm sorry, not old bag, four person.

Drew Lane (2:27)

You know, the montage we have Bran in a three baggles. The three baggles.

Marc Fellhauer (2:31)

Oh, yeah.

Drew Lane (2:31)

Check these bags out.

SPEAKER_9 (2:33)

Very arrogant. He really did not take anything that anybody said.

Brandon McAfee (2:40)

She's complaining about the juror that would not.

Drew Lane (2:42)

Of course.

SPEAKER_9 (2:43)

The nurses, he tried to ask a question about the medications, and we went back to the report from South Shore Hospital. We had the toxicology report. We could see exactly the amounts. The nurses in the room spoke to that and talked to that.

SPEAKER_10 (3:02)

There were nurses on the jury.

SPEAKER_9 (3:04)

Yes. And they spoke to that specific thing. That was a question that he had.

And he just completely disregarded the information that they gave him.

Brandon McAfee (3:15)

He had reasonable doubt. He admitted he had reasonable doubt. After we watched that video of the interview, I think that's when it was, he admitted he had reasonable doubt. And I started filling out the forms. I was so excited. I actually, there were three forms I had to fill out.

And I started filling them out. I wrote my signature on each one. And then he said, but I'm still not going to say that she's not guilty by reason of insanity.

Marc Fellhauer (3:44)

I'm not sure if rogue is the right word, Sue. But every one of us, in the hours of a frustration, would get up and walk the room. Because you just couldn't sit anymore. And we'd all go to the cart with the exhibits.

He, I think, got up to the cart once, very briefly and went back to his seat. He would not interact with us. And try to understand. We read to him on numerous occasions the definition of reasonable doubt from Judge Sullivan's instruction. He actually said one day in the end, well, why don't we have the judge come in and read it again? And we were like, no. We have it in front of us.
