We're kind of stuck here in this little bit of a range after this nice move. What would be great is if we could get a pullback to that previous breakout, so that'd be about a 2% correction.
Get a 1% or 2% correction over the course of a couple of days. Hold, you know, retest that breakout support and then find some buying impetus that would come in and then move back up and set a new high. That's pretty much going to give you a really good indication of when the bull market is still intact, probably through year end.

Welcome to Thoughtful Money. I'm Thoughtful Money founder and your host, Adam Taggart. Welcoming you here at the end of the week for another weekly Market Recap featuring my good friend, the tin tenabulous portfolio manager, Lance Roberts. Lance, how are you doing?

**Lance Roberts** (1:44)
I'm fantastic. I have no idea what that word means.

**Adam Taggart** (1:49)
It means having to do with the ringing of a bell. Okay. Since markets are back at all-time highs and ringing the bell of all-time highs, I thought that was the appropriate adjective for you here.
Lots to talk about, Lance. By the way, great to see you. I think it's been over two weeks. When I was on with Michael, I was like, I don't think I've been away from Lance for two weeks, for four or five years.

**Lance Roberts** (2:13)
I know. Dude, I was going in withdrawals. I missed you. It was terrible.

**Adam Taggart** (2:17)
I'm starting to get the shakes.

**Lance Roberts** (2:18)
I think it was terrible. Anyway, I missed you, buddy. You had a good trip.

**Adam Taggart** (2:23)
Thanks. We had an absolutely wonderful trip. It already feels like an incredibly distant memory.
We'll soldier through today. My apologies to you in the audience, if I look a little bleary-eyed. Two things are going on. One, as I've mentioned to folks on this channel, we bought a house and it's a new build. There's a whole bunch of checklist stuff that you've got to agree to for the house that's going to be built. Because we're buying a house that technically somebody had actually bought before us, structurally design the house. The train is already leaving the station.
We said, okay, look, we'll buy this thing. They said, great, but you've got to basically finalize everything else about the house, down to how many outlets, where they are, wiring for sound systems, countertops, flooring.

**Lance Roberts** (3:21)
Has your wife gone to the design center yet?

**Adam Taggart** (3:25)
We briefly popped in there. We had our first orientation meeting yesterday, like rhythm dumping on us all the decisions we need to make. We then have our first three-hour session on Tuesday where we have to finalize almost everything, and then we have to confirm that a little bit later. We're just drinking from the fire hose on that right now.
Again, it's first-time homeowners.

**Lance Roberts** (3:47)
I've been through this whole process, so this is all bringing up very much nightmarish memories.

**Adam Taggart** (3:53)
Yeah. I think if normally we had a couple of months to do this, we'd be fine, but we literally have days to just a few weeks, and we're first-time homeowners, don't forget. This is all new to us.
So anyways, folks, I'm a little frazzled about that. By the way, too, I've had a number of people say, hey, Adam, I'd love to know why you buy a house, especially with a number of real estate analysts on this channel saying, look, they expect the national market to continue to soften. Other people have said, hey, Adam, I'd love to hear just about the process you're going through because I want to learn more about the home buying process, or specifically, I want to learn more about the buying of a new house process versus buying an existing one. So folks, I am planning to do a video on that, but if that's something you're interested in, let me know in the comments and if the interest is high enough, I can prioritize doing that sooner rather than later. Secondly, Lance and folks, we will get to the markets in just a sec. I think you and I talked over a year ago when I got diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, and I did a quick little test with a CPAP machine, but then I had to move and life got in the way. So anyways, sleep has continued to be a real issue. I just got a sleep CPAP machine a little over a week ago. It's actually pretty dramatically gotten the score of the number of whatever interruptions they don't like to see from, or incidents they don't like to see from the apnea. It's gotten them down a lot. They're in the single digits now. But the sleep quality is still just awful.
