Hey, it's Ready, Set, Bet here on a Saturday, back in the afternoon slot. And that must mean that it is actual NFL football season upon us and a couple of games in the books. Of course, we have the full slate tomorrow. We will go over each and every NFL game, give you all the bets already in my account. Any liens, anything that I almost pulled the trigger on and decided not to, and anything out there that I absolutely hate, we will talk about that here on the course of the program. You don't want to go anywhere while we have the three hours leading into the contest show, but the contest show starts at 6 PM Pacific, 9 PM Eastern. Derek Stevens and Jeff Benson will be here on the desk with me. We get the reveal, the official reveal of the numbers for Circus Survivor and Grand East as well as millions. And I can tell you this, we know that we hit the 20 million guarantee because that was several days ago. But where did this thing end up? How high did it get? Cannot wait to get those guys in here and see how that all broke, how that all went down here. I mean, listen, had until two o'clock this afternoon to get in the contest, get your picks in all of that. Man, it was, it's gonna be close. I think this is going to be super, super interesting when we get the reveal here again, at 6 p.m. Pacific, 9 p.m. Eastern time, we will have Tim May join us here on the show as well. He has written about Ohio State for a very, very long time. So nobody better to give us the thoughts on what he thinks about that big matchup with Texas today. And then Ben Stevens will join us as well. Loves him some college football, get his thoughts on everything that went on earlier today, stuff that's going to be moving forward with us here, as well as we see the the Oregon Ducks. Look, they flirted with disaster last week and could not get past it again this week. You know, you start to look at this and there were some close calls, obviously, in week number one, but didn't really get that major, major upset. We did get it this week. And so I said last week you started to look and it was the they were trying to lose last week. Didn't quite get across the finish line. Oklahoma State at home, 39-31 over Oregon. And honestly, Oklahoma State for a lot of the game looked like the better team. If you were watching this game, you were sitting there going, what is going on with Oregon? This is one of the teams that a lot of people were very high on to win the national championship this year. Obviously Dante Moore, one of the names getting thrown about as one of the guys that could go number one overall in the draft and instead 14 of 29 for Dante Moore in this game. 191, he didn't throw any picks, but under 50% completion percentage, Mestemaker on the other hand, on the Oklahoma State side of things, 26 of 43, 317, two touchdowns. He did have a couple of picks, but made a couple of plays as well for this Oklahoma State team that had a 21 point second quarter, kind of played with their food a little bit in the third quarter, but get their nine points in the fourth quarter, that's all they needed to win this thing 39 to 31 So the number six team in the land in Oregon does go down here in week number two of the season. So I'm very interested as to everyone's opinion that we will have on this program. If you want to tweet your opinion in, Matt Brown M2, let me know what's going on there. With that, as to what you think is going to happen here with Ohio State and Texas, I mean, this is, there are NFL players galore on both sides of the ball in this game. I mean, this is like, absolutely, if you watch this game, there's going to be three or four of these dudes go in the first round this year. Obviously, Arch Manning is getting tossed around as a guy that could go number one overall. Some of the scouts starting to maybe cool on that, just a tad, but it's early in the season. And this guy obviously has the pedigree, certainly has the physical makeup. Can he just get it done on the field? Can he do what he needs to do to be the number one overall pick and certainly Dante Moore didn't help his case today. Again, 14 of 29 for 191 as they lose to Oklahoma State. Some of the other scores that are going on right now out there in college football from the ranked teams, Notre Dame getting it done against Rice. It is 52 to nothing there in that one. They were up 42 to nothing at halftime on this Rice team. Hey, little eyeball emoji right now. Alabama losing to Kentucky currently 17-16 as Alabama on the road over there at Kentucky. Still a lot of time left, seven minutes in the third quarter, but Alabama at least a little bit on upset watch here towards to Kentucky 21-17 BYU over Arizona. About a minute left in the third quarter there in that one. Washington 10-7 over Utah State. That is, that is into the fourth quarter already here in that one. 13 minutes left for Washington. They are in the red zone. However, as they hold that three point lead, SMU. UC Davis is their sacrificial lamb this week. 42-0 with 12 minutes left in the third quarter. They had a 28-point second quarter did SMU. So it was just absolute bloodbath there in that one. Georgia 70-20 over Western Kentucky. That is a final. Indiana 55-0 over Howard. That also a final. A&M 48-20 over Arizona State. The Arizona State hung around in this game for a little while before Texas A&M really poured it on in the fourth quarter in which they scored 24 unanswered points in the fourth quarter against Arizona State here 48-20. They're in that one. Penn State 27-9 over Temple. But Michigan 17-10 over Oklahoma. Oklahoma goes into the big house and loses to Michigan. So Michigan needing the extra second to even go 1-0 on the season. But Ohio looks up and is 2-0 as a fake SEC school comes into their house and loses out right here in this one. And some of these guys that we were talking about, Heisman contenders, maybe could play their way into the top of the draft. Let's play their way into the first round. You heard some decent stuff about John Mattier from Oklahoma. Not his best effort either in this one. 17 of 33, so just over the 50% completion percentage for just 189 yards, one touchdown and one pick there in this one. He did run for 45 yards, but I think one of the problems is he led them in rushing at 45 yards. Did John Mattier on the Michigan side of things? Bryce Underwood did not look good. So, I mean, obviously they don't score 17 points. I mean, it's 17 to 10 Bryce Underwood was 9 of 17 for 111 No touchdowns, no picks. This is what I thought they might do, however, with Underwood. I think we saw this last year. It didn't look like he was progressing in game one. Looked horrific. Throwing the ball even in this one didn't look good. 18 carries for 87 yards. I think we are going to see Michigan become like a pseudo service academy. We're going to see Bryce Underwood have 15 plus carries every game. And that's probably the best way to utilize him if you're Michigan, because it does not look like the dude is comfortable throwing the ball right now. Bryce's footwork is terrible.
