It's Ready, Set, Bet here on VSiN, the SportsBetting Network, here with the next three hours. Matt Brown, Wes Reynolds, World's Largest Sportsbook, down here in downtown Las Vegas. And Wes, we got some interesting things going on out there in College Football. Of course, we'll get to the stuff that happened already. But as we look at the screen right over there, the number one team in the land has a 14 next to their name and Auburn with 24 next to theirs. Wes, it is still plenty of time. We'll give you that. There is 414 left in the third quarter, but a 10 point deficit for the number one team in the country at home against Auburn.
Wes Reynolds (0:56)
Yeah, so not quite ready to say war damn evil for the Auburn Tigers, but still getting late in the third quarter here, 24 to 14, Auburn leading the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia, of course, number one in the country with their win over Alabama, who's also in action right now. We'll update that momentarily. But Auburn, you know, they're kind of rebuilding. New coach there with Alex Gulesh, who comes in from South Florida, still trying to really figure out that offense. And this did get a little bit of Auburn's support.
I think a lot of the 20s disappeared. Mine went down to like 19 and a half or 19 So not really a huge move on the Tigers, per se, but some support. And it looks rightfully placed as Auburn leading 24 to 14 I am looking at the live numbers, about one and a half Georgia lay in across the board, 57 and a half on the total.
Matt Brown (1:47)
As we look at this one as well, I mean, I think if you start to put things together, it's going to be a little bit more shocking than anything else, Wes, is that this was 14 nothing Georgia, and you just got the feeling like, oh, wow, they are about to just run Auburn out of the building here. And this is going to be one of those snoozers by the third quarter. And instead, after going up 14 nothing, then we get a 24 nothing run from Auburn in this thing.
Wes Reynolds (2:13)
Yeah, exactly. And what really is a little bit surprising is that, you know, 4.7 isn't a ton, but it's not nothing on the ground. 34 carries for 161, so Auburn has been pounding that rock. And being able to run on Georgia, not very many teams can do that or certainly have been able to do that. So 24 to 14 is I believe they're going to Georgia is going to have the first down. They are just into Auburn territory at about inside the 40s. So 24, 14 Tigers is this would really shake things up.
Matt Brown (2:43)
We've already had some shake ups early this morning for sure. The other one will be scoreboard watching. This one not quite as dire as what we see over there in Athens, but Alabama is down 12 to 10 currently to Tennessee as Bama on the road over there in Knoxville down 12 to 10 But this one's still 945 left in the third there West. But yet another top 10 team that trails here in the second half.
Wes Reynolds (3:09)
Yeah, this is one I am involved in. I do have the Tennessee Vols plus eight and a half. No touchdown so far for the Vols, but four field goals for Tennessee here. And it's been enough so far. The defense for Jim Knowles has been very good. You get an Alabama team, of course, off that game against Georgia, that physical kind of a slugfest low scoring game. And they have another one here. We're used to Tennessee, I think, watching this team every year be such like an up tempo offense, right? Tempo, tempo, tempo and score a million points a game. Not so much now. Tennessee relies on that Jim Knowles defense. Neither team really able to run the ball here. George McIntyre, who does get his second straight start with Faison Brandon out for the second week in a row. But Alabama trying to get the lead here. It is 12 to 10 tied a small favorite about minus three and a half right now.
Matt Brown (4:00)
As you would probably imagine, not a ton of passing here from Keelan Russell with him only having 10 points on the board, but you probably would have thought it'd be more than 65 yards. And that's what he has right now. 10 of 17 for 65, no touches.
And a pick for Russell. Rough day for a lot of quarterbacks out in College Football today. And then Russell is no exception here, Wes.
