It's Ready Set Bet here on Sunday. Matt Brown for the next three hours as we go through every single thing in this sports world that you can gamble on. We will talk about it here today.
Awesome guest list. We have Zach Wolchuck, who's going to join us in about 45 minutes to talk to Dallas Cowboys in all things NFC East, a division that certainly has its range of opinions as to whether the Eagles are by far the best team. Could the commanders actually look more like the commanders from a couple of years ago?
And just exactly how competitive is this Dallas Cowboys team? That defense got rebuilt. We'll get his thoughts there. Colby Martio going to join us, talk some Major League Baseball with him. He's having a nice little stretch right now. Let's see if he can't give us some more winners. That'll be about 30 minutes after Zach. And then Greg Peterson immediately following Colby. So you get a 30 minute stretch there of just Major League Baseball picks, slam, top to bottom. So Colby Martio and Greg Peterson going to join us there. Back to back there, 15 minutes each. And then Jake Crean going to join us in the final hour. Come on back here if you have to go away, 1115 Eastern, I mean, Pacific 215 Eastern. Talk some college football with him. We've talked to SEC, we've talked to Big Ten. Maybe we'll get in some of these other conferences. See if even over the last couple of weeks, any opinions have changed as well as we get in and we start reading some of these camp reports and some of these scrimmages and things like that. Maybe, just maybe there's some differencing of opinions there. We have a golf tournament that we will get to next segment as well. Unfortunately, that's all we can really say about that. We have a golf tournament, and there could be a major collapse. Listen, it has happened before, but Wyndham Clark is going to take a five stroke lead into that one. And the way that he's playing right now, it would be crazy to think that he could blow that. But hey, weirder things have happened for sure. We'll get into that. We're going to talk some exact finishing positions for some of these other divisions that we haven't hit. We're going to get into it towards the end of the show, every NFL bet that I actually have in my account currently. So if you're trying to get ahead of the rush of putting in some of these bets, this is probably the last time that you are going to be able to get in on some numbers that don't start moving. I think the general public is now about to really get into looking at some of these things. And so if you want to get in on those, I will go through every bet that's in my account as well throughout the course of the show here today. But we got to get into what we saw yesterday over in the preseason. We had a ton of different games, not a ton to pull from them. A lot of different games didn't really have starters, but when we were on air, we had the Lions and the Commanders that were going at it. Detroit didn't play any of its starters in that one. Jayden Daniels threw one pass. It was incomplete. He took a sack and when he got up a little bit gingerly, they were like, yep, your day is done. So that was all that we got really out of that one. They did not score an offensive touchdown. It was a defensive touchdown for the Commanders. So the 13 points actually came on zero offensive scores for them in this one. I think of note, and we will see, I don't know if Jayden Daniels will play in week three or not, or if this was just a get him on the field, get him out, get him feeling good, and then we move on type situation. But maybe they tipped their hand as to what we're going to see here from a starting receiver stand point for them. Terry McLaurin lined up at the X, Traylon Burks lined up at the Z, and then Steph Diggs in the slot whenever Jayden Daniels was on the field. So that might be your starting three receivers. So Traylon Burks looks like he might be the guy on the outside, and it looks like Steph Diggs is going to be used in a slot role. So he might not actually be out there whenever they're out there in two wide receivers. So we'll see if maybe that changes here over the next couple of weeks, but that's at least how they went at it whenever Jaden Daniels was out there. So if you're looking again at season long props and things like that, if you find anything on Steph Diggs and this role stays, he's not going to be a full time player. He's going to be more of a part time player. He's probably only going to be out there 50, 60% of the snaps and like that whenever they're in 11 So something to keep in mind when you look at that. Really nothing to take here from the Detroit side either. Josh Dobbs had a 50-yard touchdown run if you want to look at it from that standpoint. But that's about it. The real story from yesterday, Bill's 31, Brown's 7 It's less about the score in the game. We didn't get any of the starters over there on Buffalo.
