**Fear Agent** (0:15)
Welcome to Two Sixteen, A Link to the Past Randomizer Podcast. I am your host, Fear Agent. It's been a while since our last episode with GFE. I think that was in January.
It is now May. I mentioned, you know, no regular episodes of Two Sixteen after that, or a bit. I have spent time focusing on my other podcast, Movies I Missed. You can check that out at moviesimissed.com. Episode number eight of that episode is going to be dropping this week, where we cover the film Hunger from 2008 You can go check that one out. Since I'm more or less done editing those podcasts and recording those podcasts, I can spend a little bit more time back here at Two Sixteen. Things have changed a little bit. We've got a website. twosixteenpod.com is the link to the site. I've had a hell of a time getting that domain to work properly. I think it works. I've tested it a bunch and it works. So if you're having any issues, let me know. But twosixteenpod.com is the website, has links to all the episodes, and links to the Discord. It's the new home of TwoSixteen. I've also moved hosts once again. I have a new host. I'm trying to cut down on spending money on all my hobbies. Let's face it, podcasting has gone exactly the way I wanted it to.
I make no money from this. And so I'm trying to mitigate some of those costs. So I moved the host again. You shouldn't notice. If you're subscribed to the show, hopefully everything switched over and you got this episode on your feed. If not, there is a new feed and we'll have the links at twosixteenpod.com. So if for some reason this isn't showing up in your subscription feed, you might have to resubscribe on your podcast platform. Apologies for that, but it's just going to end up saving me a little bit of cash, which is nice. We're back. It's been a while. What's happened? The main tournament happened since then. Gamachu won it again. I think Skelly was the runner up. Hoping to talk to the Two Sixteen Cross Keys winners from last year, Telethar and Humbug, but I haven't had a chance to do that. That's my fault. I think I'm going to try to get a bunch of tournament winners on the show at one time and just kind of talk about how do you win a tournament? Because there's not a lot of people that have won major tournaments. Gamachu has won a couple of the last main tournaments. Telethar won League last year, and then he won the Two Sixteen Cross Keys Tournament with Humbug. Humbug also won the Cross Keys Tournament from last year. So if your name is Telethar or Humbug or Gem or Gamachu, you know how to win tournaments and win them consistently. I'd kind of like to get their perspective on what it takes to win a tournament. So there's that. I can't think of anything that's going on in Randaland other than the League. I'm sure there's some other stuff. I joined the 80 Key DF Tournament. It's All Dungeons Key Drop Follower Tournament that Jem and Teletra are hosting. I've yet to play my first game. I somehow qualified as the number two seed. I got really lucky in the Async Qualifier. And I'm going to be running against Vexta for Week One. That's been really fun. I really enjoyed that mode. We are in the League Playoffs. So one of the reasons why I wanted to bring the podcast back is to talk about the League. So the entire League season has come and gone. We have 14 teams in the Invitational, 12 in the Open. In the Open, the Blue Trinex group, Nosphofile, Nopho, I guess it's Nofake, Bugnets is one of the teams. The Joy of Rando and Missing Two Beaux, those are the top four teams of the Open. They're waiting for the Round One opponents to get settled and then they'll start playing their games. In the Invitational, What The Specs was the number one team overall that has Gamachu, Specs and Skelly. They finished 12 and two. They're in my division. They're the number one seed overall. Number two is UsedBow, who won the tournament last year. That's Structural Mike, Telethar and Jem. They're 11 and three. Number two, Moogle's team, sponsored by Chipotle, Linlinlin, Megawatt and MoogleCharm, finished 10 and four. They're the number three seed. And then JKLOL is the number four seed. They finished 10 and four as well. We're the five seed, the good, the beer and the agent. Also 10 and four, but JKLOL beat us 2-0. So that's why they have the tiebreaker over us. We're playing against Don't Forget to Track Us. They're the lowest seed in the Invitational. Beer and I just ran our first race against them. It was Co-op Inomizer.
