Welcome to the Rotoworld Football Show. It's Thursday, August 13th, 2026 I'm Patrick Daugherty, joining Denny Carter and Kyle Dvorchak in the Bush Show for News, Big Name News. Darren Waller used to be a big name in Fantasy Football. We'll see if he still is.
Signing with the Panthers, Chuba Hubbard injured, creating an opening for Jonathan Brooks. Reports that Rashee Rice is unlikely to be suspended. Ash Jandenti, bigger role in the passing game, hopefully. And then we're going to debate some outliers, some big name players, where we disagree on the rankings, all that and more when we come right back after this.
We're back. Got several things to get to, including Ben Johnson saying he wants to set the single season scoring record. An interesting goal to reveal to the public right before the season begins. I can't even think, as someone pointed out on social media, I'm being beard-mogged by Denny as he's growing a glorious new beard. And I do feel mogged. Just are you sticking with it? We have an in-person draft next week. What will the beard be making an appearance to?

**Denny Carter** (1:17)
I might shave during the draft.

**Patrick Daugherty** (1:21)
You make a bad pick. We're allowed to start shaving off strips.

**Denny Carter** (1:25)
Well, thankfully, I don't make bad picks.

**Patrick Daugherty** (1:28)
No, you will be barefaced by the fifth one. Everyone knows this.

**Denny Carter** (1:33)
That's true. But I did see a couple of YouTube comments from Tuesday's show. And one of them said, is the beard in the room with us right now?

**Patrick Daugherty** (1:43)
That is the only hard part about growing a beard in public. I feel like if you've never grown a beard, it's very easy to underestimate how long it takes.

**Denny Carter** (1:50)
It takes a little bit?

**Patrick Daugherty** (1:52)
Everyone, quote unquote, everyone knows I'm capable of growing a walrus mustache. That takes, I don't know, months. One reason I've been hesitant to bring it back. But Denny's beard is no joke. I think maybe bringing back the stash.

**Denny Carter** (2:03)
You know, it's funny, you know, for years online, people have been like, well, I mean, you can't grow a beard. You're baby faced. And I'm like, no, no, no, no. You only think I'm baby faced because I shave every 12 hours.

**Patrick Daugherty** (2:14)
Yes.
I can attest. Denny doesn't have to shave. Just shaving at dinner frequently. It's actually kind of weird. I've thought about reporting that to HR.

**Denny Carter** (2:22)
It's off putting, but I have to do what I have to do.

**Patrick Daugherty** (2:24)
You can't be shaving while I'm eating my Caesar salad, my Blue Moon. It's on the road, okay? I'm not going to have a craft beer. It's some town I've never heard of in Ohio, right? Yeah.

**Denny Carter** (2:34)
Why would you do that?

**Patrick Daugherty** (2:35)
Why would I do that?
Speaking of Ohio, it's by Indiana. The Bears swear to God they're going to play in Indiana, except maybe not today. This is just my favorite quote I think of the summer. It's not even related to football. Bears team president, Kevin Warren Denny, said our sole focus is on Indiana. We're also still talking to Illinois.
I don't think he understands what sole focus means. I like that the Bears are struggling with this, like they're committing a mortal sin by moving to Indiana. They know they are. They're clearly like morally tortured by this, as they should be. Yes. I know that's all I have to say.

**Denny Carter** (3:16)
Well, I mean, do you think it's similar to the commanders playing in Maryland?

**Patrick Daugherty** (3:21)
No. See, outside that, I will say no one outside your little DMV region knows what any of that means.

**Denny Carter** (3:26)
Okay.

**Patrick Daugherty** (3:27)
They don't care about it.

**Denny Carter** (3:28)
Okay.

**Patrick Daugherty** (3:29)
The difference between Chicago and Indiana, I would say is quite stark. DC, I'm like Maryland, Virginia, it's obviously.

**Denny Carter** (3:35)
It is. No, you're right.
In that little cross section too, they're in Prince George's County, which is right outside of DC. So yeah, you're probably right about that.

**Patrick Daugherty** (3:44)
To answer your question, no, it doesn't remind me of that at all.

**Denny Carter** (3:47)
I just wanted to run it by you.

**Patrick Daugherty** (3:51)
Anyways, they're looking very powerfully into doing one thing or the other. They have no idea what it is, even though they want us to believe it's apparently going to. They're feeling such public shame. You actually do love to see it.

**Denny Carter** (4:02)
Wait, wait, wait. I don't know anything about the Midwest. How far away is the new stadium location compared to Soldier Field?
