There are some people who have the downs on Liam Duggan, aren't there? So right now, Liam Duggan is the co-captain of the club. He's providing important leadership. They need to get as many mature bodies or keep as many mature bodies in the team as they can, so they are very young. Now, whether that's different next year, it may be, but I suspect for the remainder of this year, Liam Duggan's presence in the team will be important. You know, you look at who they tried to match up with, Jack Darling. They weren't throwing one of their kids to the wolves on a bigger, stronger opponent. They were saying, Liam, you and Brandon Starcevich can do it between you, even though he's bigger and heavier than you are. So, that's where Liam Duggan's value lies. But yeah, it's great for a team to have kickers. And Marcus Herbert looks like he's a good kicker, and Tom McCarthy is clearly a good kicker.
So, they're getting a few back there now.

Joshua Mulliton says, Collingwood currently have 10 players over 30 Penderbury, Howe, Sidebottom, Elliott, Crisp, Membrey, McStay, Cameron, Moore, and DeGoe, all of which are in their starting team if fit. Maidan and Frampton will join them next year. The cliff is coming. If Neil joins the list, it might be time for Collingwood to sign on with Australian Super as their main sponsor. Collingwood's pursuit of Neil is just more proof that they are not a destination club that they claim to be. If they get him, it'll be for overpaying that gets him, not the allure of playing at the MCG for the most rich and powerful club in the game.

You've bowled me one that's angled in and seemed away. So yeah, I believe there are some differences of opinion between Craig McCrae and Justin Lippich on how they go about this. Now, Lockie is a free agent. So as Danny Lately pointed out, draft wise, or he doesn't cost them picks, but he will cost them a significant amount of salary cap money. I just find it fascinating that background piece to this. They need to stay relevant to keep Nick Dacos happy. That's interesting.

Because if they add one at the top like that, is there one of the youngest stars that might be squeezed out?

Well, I think the problem is what they're angling towards is one of those midfields where you've got Dacos and Lockie Neal as playmakers. Dagoey is going to be going in there as well. So if they've got a good young mid coming through, guess what? He's going to be a role player or a tagger or something like that. Now, that's fine if they have limitations, but what if they have potential? And they know they have potential and they're being asked to do that stuff.
They'll be looking around, looking to go somewhere else. So you kind of like, hamper your ability to regenerate when you do that.
