Welcome to a Monday edition of Prop Points here on VSiN. I'm John Hansen, the program, as always, being the host of this show, and the program, as always, being produced by Mr. Michael Cohen. Big program forthcoming, as always. We'll recap our betting results from week number six. Things were going very well in the month of October until yesterday. It was not a good week for really anything. Fantasy, gambling, DFS. It was a rough week.
No other way to break it down. We'll take a look at what happened. We did pretty well on the liens, but even there, we hit some frustrating results. Then we'll turn our attention. We need to get on the winning side of things here. We got one more shot in week number six. Monday Night Football, 49ers, Commanders. Commanders at 49ers will break down all your pertinent data points and alike. Our guy Tom Brolley, he had a good week, unlike yours truly. He'll join the show. He's got a prop that he likes that I'm also in on this evening. Then at the end of the program, we will in fact pop out my prop itch here.
Numbers are tight. They really are.
These will probably be close, but I've got a lien. I've got four props that I'm officially going to lay down here. We also have a Monday Night Special. The special must hit, must be plus 200 or better. Make sure you're downloading the Prop Points podcast, Apple, Spotify, and the like. Of course, the big news here on Monday is that Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts will in fact be out for the season. I don't know if it's officially out for the season, but based on the timetable, we're looking at a early January being the earliest that Jalen Hurts can return. So it's probably 99.5% that Mr. Hurts is out for the season. Tanner McKee, it didn't go very well. So obviously, the Philadelphia Eagles are in trouble. Keep in mind, this is a new offense, too. And they're breaking in some younger players like Dontavian Wicks and Mikhail Lemmon. So my advice on this is, I would get out there and sell Devontae Smith coming off a very good game with Tanner McKee because I do worry about his availability. He got hurt in the game yesterday.
Also, I question obviously McKee's ability to support a viable fantasy wide receiver. Same for Dallas Goddard, although Goddard might be in decent shape, catch four or five balls as long as he's healthy. But you do worry in Philly about things completely unraveling. Well, speaking of unraveling, things were going very well for us in October until Sunday, like I said. But let's start with the liens because I did say on Friday's show, I'm going to start popping out some liens on some higher end players. Problem with the higher end players is the numbers are very high. So this is why we only put them at liens. But I was feeling really good about Trevor Lawrence and finally throwing the ball a little bit more the last couple of weeks. It was, by the way, for me, it was a week of every prop that I put on. I have two lists. I have potential and then I have the actual props. Every prop that I put on the potential that I didn't officially play, they all hit. It was one of those weeks, like Trevor Lawrence, over his touchdown props. We got that right here as a lean, but I was really looking at the yardage prop, and I was like, ah, divisional opponent.
Houston Secondary is improving, but he did kind of shred them. Jonathan Taylor, this was close, 87.5. Kenneth Walker, that was not close. But, you know, so we go three and two, but it's the two losses that really stand out. I mean, come on, there's nothing else I can do other than recommend a guy like CD. Lam, who gets 18 targets and we still can't hit 81 yards. So Dak Prescott did not play well. And then Drake May, we lost that by, I believe, two yards and AJ Brown dropped about 80 yards. So that was rough. Let's take a look though at the, well, we also struck out on the touchdown props. I saw Dalton Kincaid had a touchdown called back. I thought the Dawson Knox prop was viable. He said, why? They had given up nine touchdowns, two tight ends. So I'll take a shot on something like that again at plus 500 Mark Andrews. Oh boy, what a fail by Mark Andrews. Josh Quavis, the rookie tight end, who's really more of their blocker. He, he bogarted all the production in that game. Trevor Lawrence, boy, he came close a couple of times to running one in, but no cigar there. And Harold Fanon, but most discouraging, we go three and five with these Props. Not, not a good week. I was saying six and two. I was incorrect here. We got pinched a little bit, some bad luck. Khalif Raymond had like an 18-yard catch call back for holding. Now, maybe the hold held, helped him a little bit, but he could have gotten five, six yards without a damn hold and hit the Prop. But again, Caleb Williams completed 30 passes for over 300 yards. I'm like, we got to get to 23 yards. Nope, no, we don't. Kendrick Bourne does come up big again. I got to keep Rollerwood Bourne. I think I'm like 4-0 on Kendrick Bourne Props. Wandail, very unfortunate. Carnell Tate, bow guarded all the production there. It was a very, very good schematic matchup. That's why we went for it. Now, I did see Sauce Gardner got hurt. I did not catch when he got hurt. Maybe that helped Carnell Tate as well. We get the Ashton Gentry prop right. I mean, the best thing we did last week was give mad love to Jeremy Bernard. He was my number one guy in the waiver wire last week as well. And I'm a Bernard guy.
