Welcome in to Prop Points here on the Sports Betting Network. Nick Whalen, Jeff Erickson, hanging out with you, kicking off our final week here on Prop Points. Jeff, year two of our run on VSiN, we handed things back over to the football season crew starting next Monday, but really fun show coming your way today. Got five more fun shows to round things out. You and I will be live in Las Vegas later this week to round out what has been another great summer. We got plenty to discuss in the NFL. We have a quarterback decision out of Cleveland. We got some injuries coming out of week two of the preseason.
But we have what appears to be good news on Astra Jetty. Jeff, still kind of picking through the rubble after a major, major scare with him yesterday. So we'll talk through all of our take aways from the weekend in the National Football League. We're gonna have John Mckechnie from rotawire.com stopping by with some of his insights. And then of course we'll round things out with the full MLB card from Jeff Erickson. As always, if you miss any of our shows, if you just want to check us out in audio form, make sure you're downloading the Prop Points podcast. You can find us on Apple, on Spotify, wherever you listen to your pods. Just search Prop Points, search VSiN. You will find us there.
All right, Jeff, a lot to get to. But first and foremost, you are back in your home studio in the LA area. You were out at Circa this past weekend for the big Draft Nation event. I want your quick recap. I want to know how many drafts you took part in at the pool over the last few days.

**Jeff Erickson** (1:47)
Yeah, fantastic weekend. It was great. Big thanks to Rick Wolf and Bill Enright for putting on a good show. We had tons of drafts, tons of celebrities there. I did four drafts. None of them were by the pool. There were drafts done by the pool. I was up by Radio Row for most of my drafts in the other draft room there.
Got to meet Pat Doherty for the first time from Roto World. He and I have traded tweets forever. High respect between us and it was fun to see him in person. Hung out with a lot of the Howard Bender who you saw on the show on Friday. Hung out with him. He's a big Ash and Gentie guy. Didn't get to see his reaction to that news yesterday, unfortunately. Had Jeff Garcia and Earl Thomas on our SiriusXM show on Saturday in person. That was fantastic. All in all, great weekend, huge parties there.
It was a really, really fun time. Looking forward to Draft Nation 2027 next year, but it should be a good time.

**Nick Whalen** (2:41)
Yeah. Looking forward to, I guess for you, running it back two weekends in a row in Vegas. We'll be out there for the launch of contest weekend, of course, later this week. More to come on that event. Jeff, let's talk to you about Shugenty. So I was actually at a funeral yesterday. Had the phone turned off for a good couple hours. I turned it back on. I have a million Twitter notifications and texts coming in asking about Ashugenty.
This initially looked very, very, very severe. You know, we had all of the hallmarks of the classic. Oh no, he's out for the season. You got players on a knee. You got prayers. You got him carted off. You got the report that he can't put any weight on that foot and ankle. And lo and behold, then we get an update this morning that apparently this is not nearly as severe as it initially looked. We're still kind of sorting through the rubble as far as, OK, how much time could he potentially miss? Is this a high ankle sprain versus a low ankle sprain? But it appears as though we have avoided the worst case scenario with Ash Jigenti.
I know the information is still limited, but if you were doing a draft, let's say this afternoon, Jeff, I mean, how far are you moving him down? What are we supposed to do as we await more news on Ash Jigenti?

**Jeff Erickson** (3:48)
It's a great question. First, I'll tell a story, and then I'll get to the answer here because yesterday, I was driving home from Draft Nation 2026 from National Fantasy Football Draft Day, doing the usual slog back from Las Vegas to LA on a Sunday, rushing to try to get back from my auction, which started at 2.3 local time. I left it, I gave myself five hours to get home and it wasn't enough, Nick. I was like 10 minutes late, they paused the auction, started the auction for me. It was very kind of them to do that there. After some frantic calls, I didn't have everybody's number there. They did pause it. First player out of the shoe was Ashton Genti. I did advance the bid to $9 in a $200 budget. Someone posted a link, a note to our Twitter notification on Genti in the form. I click on it, come back, I've won the player at $9 like, oh no, what did I just do? I'm not a hero in this story, I'm the protagonist.
