I love Alternative Rock. I mean, I grew up out here on K-Rock, but I'm trying to think who you're younger than I am. What bands inspired you?

Well, we like Cage the Elephant. Personally, for me, I'd say Cream.

It's probably one of my favorite bands, Cream.

Well, for me, when I think Alternative, I think like The Pretenders, I think Elvis Costello, Foo Fighters. Foo Fighters.

Yeah.

Yeah. I'm just going back. So, alternative rock did not exist before like 1978, 79

Okay.

And then it was called New Wave, basically. New Wave. Yeah. Why don't you slide that mic my way a little and we'll turn it your way a little. There you go. And you can turn it toward your mouth. Lower it a little and stay on it. We try.
So there was New Wave and New Wave was New Wave, oh, Costas is going nuts because he wants you to get up on the mic.

New Wave was Pretenders, but it was Talking Heads. It was Elvis Costello, it was Graham Parker. There were guys, English, a lot of stuff. And then later on, it kind of became Nirvana and stuff like that. Soundgarden, which they're calling Grunge, but that was kind of New Wave.
