Jaylen Waddle drove Craig to tears (derogatory), and Kenneth Walker III did the same for DK (complimentary). But we’re ready to move on from 'MNF.' It’s time for Power Hour, where we power rank … something!

This episode is brought to you by Nationwide. Everyone knows that to win in fantasy, you need players that can be so much more. The QB that can throw for 400 yards and rush for a touchdown, the defense that can snag a pick six, or the running back who can also bring in 15 receptions. It's like how Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial services companies too.

Now that gets the start. For your insurance and financial needs, Nationwide is on your side. Nationwide Investment Services Corporation, member FINRA, Columbus, Ohio.

On today's episode, we are power ranking things we instantly regret doing after watching a single week of NFL football.

Danny Kelly (1:12)

Monday Night Football, another year of being tortured by the whims of Sean Payton. Great.

Craig Horlbeck (1:18)

We also do a good fantasy court. I went to the Emmys. I actually got stabbed at the Emmys, so I'll tell you about that. And we also recap the Ringer Fantasy Football League after week one. Spoiler alert, I'm in last place.

Danny Heifetz (1:30)

We'll be right back.

This episode is presented by Verizon. Let me tell you all about Verizon's new Simplicity Plan. You get one plan, one price, just $30 a line per month, even for a single line. Welcome to The Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Heifetz and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck. Today it is our hour where every Wednesday we power rank something. This week we are power ranking all of the things we instantly immediately regret after one week of football and feel really stupid about, inspired by Jaylen Waddle on Monday night football, right, Craig?

Craig Horlbeck (2:41)

Yeah, you guys witnessed me kind of crashing out in real time. I was at the Emmys, which we can talk about at the end of the episode. And I was also watching the game on my phone and checking the Denver box score over and over thinking this can't be right.

Is Jaylen Waddle playing? Did he tweak an ankle? What happened? And yeah, it inspired the idea of what's the immediate week one regret, the post nut clarity of what was I thinking?

Danny Kelly (3:08)

Of course, this went horribly wrong.

Craig Horlbeck (3:11)

Of course. Yeah.

Danny Heifetz (3:12)

Just feel unbelievably immediately, unbelievably stupid for a bunch of things. We have a whole list here. We have to we have to start, though, with this Broncos Chiefs game. The Chiefs absolutely obliterated the Broncos. It was 31 to 10 It was just kept getting worse and worse as the game goes. I want to give I don't even know where to start like Ken Walker, Jaylen Waddle, the Homes, all these things.

Do we start? Do you want to give Ken Walker's flowers here? Or should we just talk about Jaylen Waddle? We hate him so much.

Danny Kelly (3:41)

I would like to start with Jaylen Waddle.

And then we can get to the more exciting stuff. The Jaylen Waddle thing to me is just I can't believe I fell for it again, man. Like, I can't believe I did this to myself. So everyone knew I was going to regret it immediately when I was talking about this. Why didn't anyone tell me directly? Why didn't anyone call me or stage some kind of intervention?

Danny Heifetz (4:05)

Jaylen Waddle had one catch for two yards.

Danny Kelly (4:07)

One catch for two yards.

Craig Horlbeck (4:09)

He had one catch.

SPEAKER_5 (4:10)

And a drop from third yards.

Craig Horlbeck (4:11)

Yeah, yeah. He had three targets, one of which was a blatant drop. Yeah, so I don't know why I did this. I don't know why I did it.
