What's up, everyone? Welcome to the 743rd episode of the Pokemon Podcast. It's super effective. I'm your host, Steve. With me is Bobby.
Bobby (0:56)
Hello. It's been six years, eight months since the last time I got a haircut, but I finally did it. I chopped off all my hair and it feels good. It feels real good to have short hair again.
Austin (1:09)
I guess I'll have to join you soon. Probably not. Hold on.
Bobby (1:15)
Austin here.
Austin (1:17)
Hi. Hello. I got nothing exciting. New episodes of Avatar came out. Very good.
Steve Black Jr. (1:21)
Okay. Still good.
Austin (1:23)
Still good.
Steve Black Jr. (1:25)
I think of all. So most of our listeners are audio only, like the YouTube is just a small part of it. I mean, maybe there are definitely people who prefer YouTube. Either they listen to the YouTube app audio only or they watch the video. That's fine. But those that don't know that the audio is more edited, the YouTube is just kind of put up here from when we record because I already highly edit the audio and then highly editing video.
That's very time consuming. People were like, give us the uncut version. So that was the compromise, the uncut, which is just more ums.
That's what it is, more ums.
SPEAKER_3 (2:03)
That goes to YouTube with the video.
Steve Black Jr. (2:06)
But I do think of how many audio-only people don't know what you look like, Bobby, and therefore don't know your hair situation before and after.
Bobby (2:20)
That's true. That is true. I also wear my hair up or wore my hair up, so you'd only see it just like slicked back.
But my hair did go most of the way down my back. That's how long my hair actually was.
Steve Black Jr. (2:33)
Because you always had ponytail.
Bobby (2:35)
I always had ponytail or a bun or my hair in a bun. You just never saw it really down because I don't like wearing my hair down.
They cut off more than 12 inches because I'm going to donate it to Locks of Love. So I have that in my house right now, my hair in my house. Okay. So yeah, it was a lot of hair. So it's very nice to not have long hair anymore.
Austin (3:03)
I yeah, can we give some of it away on the Patreon?
Steve Black Jr. (3:11)
No, one inch of Bobby's hair if you subscribe, patreon.com/pkmncast. Okay, here's our show for you guys today. We're recording this on a Friday night, although there really isn't any usually there's usually that's fine, that's when they'll really announce the Ruby and Sapphire. It'll be on this time.
SPEAKER_3 (3:36)
It'll be on Saturday morning.
Steve Black Jr. (3:38)
We're recording this on a Friday night. Our show for you guys is TCG has a producer level. They're making some changes. There's a new Pokemon board game coming. I think most people, maybe my or Bobby's age remembers the Master Trainer board game.
They're also, they just announced this board game a couple of hours ago. So I have only glanced at the press release. So some of this information will be new to me as we are shifting in our recording schedule. New Halloween event coming to Pokemon Sleep Halloween event in Pokopia. By the time you listen to this, it should be live. The Santa Cruz skateboards come out this weekend, which will be probably sold out by Monday. Definitely sold out by Monday. And if you stick around for our bonus segment, which is either on the Apple Podcast Premium Feed or the Patreon Feeds, we will talk about why maybe Pikachu was visiting Tim Cook at Apple.
And just, I guess people, I found out a lot of people did not know this, Apple owns Beats. They've owned Beats for a long time.
Bobby (4:45)
Yeah. Remember Dr. Dre was an Apple employee.
Steve Black Jr. (4:48)
I didn't know this. See, you didn't know this?
Austin (4:50)
I'm learning this right now.
Bobby (4:51)
Wait, what?
Austin (4:53)
I thought Beats by Dre, I thought he was just, I don't know.
