Hello there, and welcome to PodQuiz 1123 Before we start, I would like to thank new Patreon patron, Tyler. Round 1 We'll start this week with an Odd One Out music round. You're going to hear four pieces of music, for which I would like you to tell me both artist and title. And for number 5, you need to identify the Odd One Out of the four.

Question 1

Please identify the odd one out. The songs that are connected are connected by something about the song itself, rather than anything else. Round 2 Round 2 is on Fonts. The idea for this round came from Emily, who dedicates it to MK. Happy birthday MK. Question 6 Although now used more generally, before desktop computers, a font referred to a particular size, weight and style of what? Question 7 Which font was infamously used for the subtitles and logo of the 2009 film Avatar? Was it Comic Sans, Impact or Papyrus? Question 8 Which font is named after the Latin name for Switzerland? Question 9 What is the name of the pictogram based font family compiled by Microsoft in 1990 using glyphs licensed from Charles Bigelow and Chris Holmes for inclusion in Windows 3.1? Question 10 The font Johnston Sans was commissioned in 1913 for use in which city's transport system and is in use for that purpose to this day? Round 3 Round 3 is on musical instruments. You're about to hear 5 short clips of an instrument being played, and I'd like you to tell me which instrument that is. Question 11
