CHU, Canada's official time signal on shortwave, is scheduled for shutdown later this month. Meanwhile, an amateur radio group is petitioning the NRC in Canada to reconsider the signal's shutdown. We will have the story. The FCC targets an unlicensed radio operator with a notice of unlicensed operation and a proposed $21,000 fine.
The ARRL launches a new online comparison tool you can use to help decide what new rig to buy.
The FCC kicks off its first spectrum auction in four years. The United States Space Command launches a new series of war games. Amsat is getting ready for field day. A change in radio frequency causes drones at a show to fall out of the sky. That's an interesting story. An Ohio 100 kilowatt station is taken off the air by Thebes taking down their coax line in broad daylight. We will tell you that story.
