Hey, what's up? It's another Fantasy Points Podcast with me, John Hansen and Brian Drake. Players to trade and trade for early in the week, heading into week number five. I do have a couple of quarterbacks who I think will probably end the season as top seven guys, but they're not doing much now.

Other recommendations, only one running back, but it's a pretty good one. A couple of wide receivers who could be major needle movers and several tight ends standing out a little bit as good buy lows, as well as some sell highs. Thanks for subscribing. As always, you're welcome.

Brian Drake (2:09)

All across the fantasy universe, what's up everybody? It's week five and we're looking to wheel and deal baby. It's the players to trade and trade for podcast. I'm Brian Drake alongside the guru, John Hansen. John, we're going to get into your article. It's up at fantasypoints.com. You've made it your own over the years. And with all the injuries and now bi-weeks here with Carolina and Kansas City off this week, I know people are going to be hitting the streets looking to buy and sell.

John Hansen (2:34)

Yeah, it's, you know, it's a weird year. They're all weird. Every year is weird. Every year has all kinds of problems, all kinds of injuries, shocking performances, both good and bad. And, you know, all I do is at the end of a week, you know, I start watching the Monday night football game, spend three, four hours just looking over the leaderboards and, you know, looking at the, you know, hardcore stats, things like that. Just exploring every possible nook and cranny, looking at every roster, understanding what perceived values and actual values are and how they may swap out. You know, some years it's, there's a lot of great options, some years not so much. This year I'd probably put into the lower end bag, if you will, hasn't been great because it is week to week league here.

But hey, all we can do is the best that we can do. We could probably get a couple wrong, but every one we get right, hopefully it's a big hit. So we can offset, basically one big right can offset two little wrongs over here on the trade market.

So trying to do our best to kind of see through everything and everything going on. And really, it's a lot about anticipation, seeing what's going on now and anticipating how it will change and kind of going from there.

Brian Drake (4:00)

Yeah, sometimes you can buy low, you can prey on people's fears or social media narratives. And that's what we're going to do in this first segment here. We're going to start with some quarterbacks. And I was surprised to see this name on your list, John. He's someone that I have on several teams. And I thought he'd be doing a little bit better than he is. Trevor Lawrence, on a total points scale, he's QB 14 On a points per game, he is QB 16

This is a guy who last year set the world on fire, John. He was like QB 1 down the stretch in the Fantasy Playoffs. Only eight touchdown passes so far this year. And that's not bad. I think the problem though is, John, the volume is just not there.

John Hansen (4:38)

Oh yeah. I mean, I'm trying to pull up my damn rankings, because I believe I had him at QB 7, which is pretty damn high. I think his ADP was like 11 or 10, but he's playing like a QB 7 Hell, he's playing like a top five QB. He's got a 69.2% completion rate, coupled with a very strong 8.11 YPA. He ranks top six in EPA per drop back, which is huge. Tells the whole story.
