They choose to do Juneteenth probably at the worst time ever. And again, who would come up with this idea Juneteenth and approve it? Kind of President Biden. Now watch this.
Watch this. Juneteenth is the 19th. On the weekend of Juneteenth, which is celebrating what? It's celebrated annually on the 19th to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. By the way, can you go type in Winner's Father's Day? Okay, Winner's Father's Day, just type in Father's Day.
What day does Father's Day fall on? Yeah, Father's Day.
**Vinnie Lingham** (1:00)
Now watch this.
**Patrick Bet-David** (1:02)
June 21st, okay? So imagine how, you know, they say racism. I mean, some could really speculate that Biden was indirectly being racist towards blacks, which I don't appreciate. Because you do Juneteenth with Father's Day, and what is the highest fatherless community in America? Which community do we have? What is the fatherless percentage that we have?
**Adam Sosnick** (1:27)
Unfortunately, it's the black community.
**Patrick Bet-David** (1:28)
Unfortunately, it's the black community. So why would you do such a racist thing? I don't use the word racist quite often. But in a context like this, you could have done it in July.
You could have done it in Christmas. You could have done it in January or maybe November Save. You can do some stuff in the first week of November, right, kind of mess around there. But you decide to do it on Father's Day? What an insult, right? And look at this, in the United States, the African‑American children have the highest rates of single, can you zoom in a little bit? My eyes are all jacked up. Yeah, there you go. Highest rates of living in single parent or father absent households, according to the US. Census Bureau, they count approximately 50 to 60 percent of black children live in single parent families, compared to 30 percent Hispanic and 20 percent white. Why would you put Juneteenth on the same weekend as Father's Day? Then to make matters even worse, the president Barack Obama, first African‑American president, some say was Clinton, they say a lot of people say was Obama. He's out there, and while they're celebrating his museum, do you know what article comes out?
This is what the article comes out, from Post-Millennial, saying hey, you spent $850 million on this property that you built, and you know sometimes there's a reputation on not paying bills or not paying credit cards, and this guy says unpaid black contractors rage against Barack Obama's Presidential Center. What sense is it celebrating Juneteenth if our black contractors are not getting their money? Go ahead, play this clip.
**Archie Reeves** (3:00)
I'm Archie Reeve, President of the African‑American Contractors Association. I've been in business since 1989
I've never seen this happen since I've been in business. Even when I worked with the Chicago Urban League, so many of our black contractors have complained about they have not got their money, but the other side of it, a lot of the black community and the newspapers do not know that these people have not been paid. Some of the people have put their mortgages up, they're going to lose their bonding, their rate in their bonding company. They're going to lose their relationship with their supplier, as well as their banker may want to bring in their note. So they're afraid to talk about these things, but they tell me in privacy that these things are taking place with them, and they're scared to death about talking about it, some of them. Some of them will hang up the phone on you and just say, I don't want to talk about that.
**Patrick Bet-David** (3:53)
What a terrible timing, Vinnie. You put Juneteenth on Father's Day and you're not paying the bills of black contractors after the first black president, museum is officially built and they're like, pay up, there's no money. And then on top of that, can you tell everybody what happened on Juneteenth weekend in Chicago?
**SPEAKER_6** (4:12)
So, it started off with a bang, no pun intended. Seven people are dead in Chicago, 38 more were shot.
Listen to this number. 24 separate shooting incidents in one weekend. Okay? By the way, how is that not, besides his library, the biggest story in America? I'm not talking about a war zone, guys. I'm not talking about Ukraine and Russia. This isn't Fallujah. We didn't take over Khayyarg Island. This is Chicago, okay? It started on Friday, on Juneteenth.
