Four brand new free AI agents just dropped. OpenDots, OpenMuse, OpenBot, OpenTag, and they're open source for free, which means you can use them right now. Now, these are free versions of the most powerful AI tools on the planet, the tools everyone wants, but most people can't get. Some are stuck behind waiting lists, some aren't available in your country, some are just too expensive to use. Not anymore. So today, I want to show you all four. You'll get your own AI agent that works for you around the clock, one that answers your calls, one that runs a whole team of AI agents working together at the same time. And the one that plugs straight into your chat so you can tag in an AI like it's a real team member. And here's the best part. You can set all of this up with just one single prompt. I'll show you exactly how later in this video. Plus, there's one thing you absolutely have to do first. All these agents won't work properly. Stick me to the end and I'll show you exactly why. Let's get into it.
Today, we're going to be looking at three new open source AI agents that are free, open source and ready to use right now. In fact, there's four. So let's go on to this straight away. Shout out to Attai who created these. This is from Co-Pilot Kit. Now, they've released OpenMuse, which is an open source alternative to MenyMuse. You have OpenBot, which is open source alternative to OpenTag, which is an open source version of Claw Tag. And then we also have an open source version of Dots as well, which is basically the new open source version of Chatchibity Dots. So let's take a look at these and let's pull them up. They're available on GitHub if you're wondering where to get access to them. So you can see this four right here, OpenTag, OpenDots, OpenBot, OpenMuse.
And by the way, I've tested these out and they actually work, and they're pretty nice and smooth. Now, you might be saying, okay, what are the differences or why would you use, for example, something like OpenDots instead of Dots? That's a valid question. So one of the first things is that if you're using Dots from ChatGBT, number one, it's still a little bit buggy when I've tested it. I've got other tutorials on that, so I won't go too much into that for that. So I will give you one example, though. If I try and call my Dot on ChatGBT, I'm on the Pro plan, so it's pretty expensive, but also quite often it doesn't even answer the phone call that I give it.
Whereas, for example, with OpenDots, this is an AI agent that you can run, and it basically runs in the same way to something like ChatGBT Dots. The biggest difference is that, number one, you can change all of this. Number two, it's pretty easy to set up. It also opens source on MIT license. And number three, you can plug in like a free API into this, or you can plug in, for example, your own models in this. You could even run it with local models, if that's something you're into. So here's an example of what OpenDots looks like. We've already set it up. By the way, if you're wondering how to set up, one of the easiest things you can do is just get the GitHub link, give it to Claude and just ask Claude, hey, can you set this up for me? And it will actually do it. You're like, it set up all this for me. So what we have over here is dots. And what's interesting as well, this is something that's pretty useful compared to ChatGPT dots. And I can pull them up side by side.
So this is ChatGPT dots, and this is OpenDots.
Now, they look pretty similar, but one of the first things that you're going to notice here is that when you are using dots, you really only have one dot, right? And I'm sure there'll be more coming in the future, but right now you really only have one dot that you can work with. With OpenDots, you can create multiple dots for different profiles, right? In the same way that, for example, with Grokbot, you can create multiple different AI agents working together with dots as well.
So that's one big difference. Now also, you can change the settings so that you switch the model you're actually using. And then one thing that people like with dots is that it has its own screen in the cloud, right? So if we go to the three dots over here, then we click on your dot's computer, you can see an example of our computer on the right hand side. Again, told you it was buggy. This is from ChatGPT. Look at that, it's still loading. It's not loaded properly. So sometimes it doesn't answer my phone call, and sometimes it's not opening up the computer screen. It does take a while for that. And also one of the biggest problems with that is you're paying $200 a month for something like this, or I am anyway, which is not ideal. So that is not great. And then, for example, with dots here, we can control it, we can add multiple, we can edit the details over here. We can set up automatic learning as well so that it self improves. Then we have spaces. So we have dots and we have spaces. Spaces is a new feature that came from ChatGPT as well. Then we have scheduled activity, so you can give it scheduled tasks. You've got memories of it, so you can actually add memories. And also, you might be saying, oh, you know, I like ChatGPT because it's got access to all of my projects and everything like that. And that's a very fair question. What I think you can actually do with this is you could plug in the CLI from ChatGPT directly into OpenDots. And then with the CLI, it would actually have access to everything that you want.
