Hello, I'm Jenny Owen Youngs.

Kristin Russo (0:11)

And I'm Kristin Russo.

Who might remember us from our podcast, Buffering the Vampire Slayer, where we talked about each and every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, one at a time, spoiler free.

Kristin Russo (0:22)

I remember us. We spent six entire years covering the television series in full. Jenny wrote 144 songs for every episode, plus we wrote a podcast musical.

Jenny Owen Youngs (0:37)

Why not? When we started the podcast, we were married to each other. In the middle, we got divorced. Now, we're married again to different people.

Kristin Russo (0:49)

We've decided that after two years away from Buffy, we really miss her. So we are going to do it all over again. But this time, we're going to do it with spoilers.

Jenny Owen Youngs (1:03)

That's right. We're going to cover all 144 episodes of Buffy, a second time. But this time, we'll be taking into consideration the full scope, the larger context of the characters, their arcs, and the show.

Kristin Russo (1:17)

It is going to be a markedly different conversation. Has anything like this ever been done before?

Jenny Owen Youngs (1:22)

Technically, we can't say for sure, but I feel like no.

Kristin Russo (1:26)

Yeah, I feel like no. I don't think anyone but the two of us would do this. Would do this particular thing. Is it a good idea?

Jenny Owen Youngs (1:33)

We would like to think so, and we hope that you agree.

Kristin Russo (1:37)

And will it be fun?

Jenny Owen Youngs (1:39)

Absolutely without a doubt.

Kristin Russo (1:42)

We are going to welcome you back to the Hellmouth once more.

Jenny Owen Youngs (1:46)

With spoilers.

Kristin Russo (1:47)

On November 6th.

Jenny Owen Youngs (1:50)

See you there.

Kristin Russo (1:51)

Holy shit.
