And the time, we're probably talking like 2010, 2011, was in Napa.

And there was rumor, like, I visited Evan, you know, we're friends with Evan Rich, who was a sous chef for Boulay, and Peter Superco and I go out there, and we just want to check out all the new stuff. And he's like, we gotta go to this place called Le Boutou, and they serve vegetarian food. And I said, what the fuck? And it's in the first floor of a yoga studio. And I was like, what are you talking about? This is fucking insane.
And that meal changed the game. And what Fox was doing was really intense. He was oftentimes harvesting and growing his own vegetables.

You know, he has a couple cookbooks out, I think On Vegetables is fantastic, and he has a meat book out. But I've never met anybody that was part of the yoga enterprise.

I used to teach in this giant studio in the Castro where there was 100-plus people, when yoga was really skyrocketing, and then LA Yoga was doing a similar thing, but the cult of personalities of the teachers and kind of like chefs, it was just different. It's like New York versus LA. It's like a different breed of how things...

Which yoga is better, New York or LA?

I want to say New York yoga is better. I trained a lot in New York.

Well, some of the best teachers in the world are in New York, like some of the most solid and just like incredible teachers.

Honestly, I teach way more yoga than I do at this point. I really enjoy when I get to do yoga. My kids honestly probably do more yoga than I do because they do it in school.
