The battle of the 0-4, the Texans defeated the Titans 26-23, 26-3 to get their first win of the season. The big story came after the game with D'Amico Ryan's announced that the Texans had indeed traded for Marvin Harrison Jr. Let's take a listen to what D'Amico had to say.

Chad Johnson (0:25)

You guys want to know, huh? Yes.

Shannon Sharpe (0:28)

All right. We traded for Marvin Harrison. See you.

No, Jr. You didn't trade for Marvin Harrison Jr. Arizona traded Marvin Harrison Jr. A 20-27 seventh round pick to the Houston first Houston in exchange for a 20-27 second round pick and a 20-27 sixth round pick in the 20-22 season at Ohio State. CJ. DeMarvin, 77 receptions, 1263 yards, 14 touchdown. Can CJ get that Marvin Harrison Jr. that we saw at Ohio State? Can he pull that out of him in Houston now?

Chad Johnson (1:10)

Absolutely. I believe he can, Unc. What happened with Jamar and what happened with Chase?

That continuity.

Shannon Sharpe (1:17)

Oh, you mean Joe.

Chad Johnson (1:18)

I'm talking about Jamar and Chase. I mean, I'm talking about Joe. Yeah. You know, being able to play in college that 2019 season, then end up on the same team. The chemistry. I'm familiar with your game. I know where you're gonna be. There's a certain love language between wide receiver and quarterback when you've played together for a while. So it's not going to take long.

And for Marvin Harrison Jr, I'm glad he's gotten a new beginning. You know, I change his scenery. He has a quarterback that's familiar with his game. I'm sure he's gonna have time to catch up in the system.

Now we have a receiver, another big receiver like Nico Collins, you know, that can make plays. And if anybody's going to get him to get his confidence back, it can be CJ Stroud.

Shannon Sharpe (2:02)

What'd you think, Joe, you like to trade?

Yeah, I like the fact that, you know, Marvin Harrison got another opportunity on the Ocho. He got another opportunity. Now, what I take from this is that when you're a player of his caliber, bro, and you really feel like you pretty good, and you feel like a team gave up on you, you know, that can come with you wearing a little chip on your shoulder. And I think it's needed, I think it's needed in this situation for Marvin. Obviously going to, I don't wanna say a familiar situation, but playing with CJ Stroud in college, I think it's definitely gonna help, because it brings some type of familiarity to the situation. But at the end of the day, it's gonna be up to Marvin, bro, to really go out there and show and prove that he wanna be that guy, the guy, Hemity, you know what I mean? Because he has the talent, he has all the tools. Now it's all about him, the mental game, bro. You gotta lock in, man. You gotta lock in. Yeah.

After the game, a reporter asked Cam Ward, have you gotten used to losing? Ward replied, no, I'm not a loser. The record may say that we are right now, but at the end of the day, you go through some stuff to try to get wins. The Titans are three and 19 with Cam Ward as a starter.

Chad Johnson (3:14)

I don't like them numbers.

Shannon Sharpe (3:16)

Today, he was 23 or 36, 170, one of the exceptions. Sacked four times, three of those sacks came at the hand of Will Anderson Jr. They, hey, hey, that offensive line, terrible. They terrible.

Chad Johnson (3:31)

Hey, we just say they were.

Shannon Sharpe (3:33)

That offensive line, terrible. I mean, think about it. And when you watch Cam Ward play, he running for his life every damn play. He get a few times where he can kind of set his feet and make plays, but for the most part, man, he's skitty back there. Okay, Ocho, and this is tough to watch. And I know that young man is under a lot of pressure. He wants to perform well being the number one pick, showing that you're worthy of that.

But bro, it's hard when you ain't got offensive line. Yeah, you can have some nice weapons, but hell, if ain't nobody blocking for you, how the hell you gonna see him?

Chad Johnson (4:02)

It's tough. How close do you think Kam Ward is to the sack record, being sacked the most times?

Like a David Carr, is he close?

Shannon Sharpe (4:14)

Yeah. He got sacked a lot today.

Chad Johnson (4:17)

Like an Andrew Luck?

Shannon Sharpe (4:19)

Four?
