Now, most of you would recognize Drew as being the number one draft pick in the NFL. And he played for New England Patriots for a long time and then had a short role with Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys.
And the reason that I was so excited to talk to Drew was because he really understands the process of transition.
And if we think about the importance of transition, transition from thoughts, transitions from roles, transitions from life events, and he's done it phenomenal, phenomenally, he's done it exceptionally well twice. And both of them are on the world stage. So he has a great point of view about this process. So the first transition he had was from the NFL into entrepreneurship. And I don't know, I think it's widely accepted that 78 to 80% of people that play in the NFL have a really hard time in transition. Within two years, they are broke, divorced or both, and it's really a tough process. So we get into the weeds a little bit about the transition from the love and passion of your first career into a second. And then the other transition process that he understands really well is he was the number one draft pick in the NFL.
