Hello, and welcome to Episode 1013 of the official establishtherun.com podcast. My name is Adam Levitan. I am one of the co-founders here at ETR, as always joined by fellow co-founder Evan Silva, and we are just two short weeks away from week one.
Almost makes you feel happy to be alive. Evan, how's it going today?

**Evan Silva** (0:39)
It's going great. I'm ready for it.

**Adam Levitan** (0:40)
On today's show, we will be discussing what has happened at training camps and in preseason games over the last seven days and how we should be adjusting our fantasy rankings. We will also go over Silva's latest rank changes and more.
I do want to note that our Draft Kit, and frankly, all of our content is not for everyone. All of our content is aimed at the top 1-5 percent of fantasy players, and frankly, it's created by people who play these games or played these games professionally. That's why all the sharpest people use our rankings. When they draft at the highest stakes to get access to all of our rankings and all of our content, you need the Draft Kit. It's just $54.99 for details on what comes in Draft Kit. Head to establishtherun.com. Again, that is the Draft Kit on establishtherun.com.
All right, let's get into it here. Silva, story number one comes from Las Vegas, and it is the Ashton Jeanty ankle sprain heard around the world. When this first happened, you would have thought that Ashton Jeanty was on his deathbed, a prayer circle, a moment of silence. Jeanty is helped off the field. He can't put any weight on his leg. Then a couple of days later, Evan, we find out it's an ankle sprain. Listen, with all due respect, if my teammates did a prayer circle for me, and then it turned out to be an ankle sprain, I don't think I could face the team again. I just have to retire right there on the spot.
Sounds now like not only did Ashton Jeanty avoid serious injury, but it might not even be a high ankle sprain. Sounds like it could be a low ankle sprain, and he has not been ruled out for week one yet. So, Evan, thoughts on the Jeanty thing and how you're handling him in the rankings.

**Evan Silva** (2:28)
Yeah, and the quote going around is that the ankle sprain is more low than high. And so, I mean, that's a big difference to me. Right now, I think if Ashton Jeanty had suffered an actual high ankle sprain, he would not be playing week one, maybe not week two, maybe not week three.
I wound up moving him down just a little bit. I had him as my 14th overall player. He's now my 18th overall player. He did move down one tier from the bottom of the previous tier to the top of tier three in my running back tiers. I'm sorry, the bottom of tier three to the top of tier four. So it's a little bit of a change. I mean, he's entering the season. He's not probably going to be at 100%. There's also been a lot of positive buzz about Mike Washington. Now Mike Washington, if you go back to his career in college, he played a bunch of different schools and was never, despite having sensational athleticism, I mean freak show athleticism, incredible speed score, all that kind of stuff, was never a true workhorse in college despite playing five years in college. And so that's, I think we can characterize him as somewhat of an underachiever and also a player that might shine in training camp practices, might shine in preseason games against players that are, against defenders that are clearly much less athletic than him. With that said, I mean, I think that he's one of the top handcuffs. He might get a start in week one and at which point he would be like flex viable.
But I, yeah, I mean, I did wind up moving Ashton Jeanty down a little bit.

**Adam Levitan** (4:07)
Yeah, so on Jeanty first, we were at 12 overall on Jeanty in the ETR ranks. We have gone to 18 overall here on him.

**Evan Silva** (4:18)
So we're in lockstep on Ashton Jeanty.

**Adam Levitan** (4:20)
There's still risk here, right? Like it could be worse. He could aggravate. Ankle sprains aren't great. But I think the most likely scenario here is Jeanty turns out to be fine. He doesn't play week one. So I don't want to go crazy on this. If we get more positive news, we'll probably keep ticking him up here a little bit. But for now, anywhere around that 2-3 turn, anywhere between 18 and 24, I think Jeanty is a solid pick there.
