NEW Hermes Email Agent is INSANE!

We've got some big updates from Hermes today. I'm gonna run you through every single one of them. I'm gonna kick this straight off with the new pet update. So what you can see here, for example, is that we have this pet, and essentially this habit mirrors what is going on with your Hermes right now. I'll show you how to set it up in a second. This literally just dropped a few hours ago. So if we say, okay, what are you good at doing?
Just as an example, and you can see that the pet has now switched to thinking. So it's kind of like your own AI Tamagotchi that's sat on your screen. The way this works is basically, instead of like checking a terminal or seeing that it's thinking, et cetera, you can see what it's doing. You can see it actually waves and then it goes back to idle based on the state of Hermes. And so this is step number one. And there's five upgrades.
Some of them I've set up with Hermes Agent. Some of them just got dropped from Hermes as well. I'll run you through all of them. The first one is status pet. So this is the new announcement from Hermes Agent, as you can see. So your Hermes Agent can now adopt an animated pet. There's actually like 3000 pets you can choose from and you can add your own custom agents as well. So if you don't like any of these, no problem. You can add your own instead. Some of them are like Pokemon style.
You've even got like Popeye Dwight from The Office and stuff like that, which is pretty cool. You can switch them on and off. If you're wondering how to do that, it's pretty simple and easy. So what you would do is you would just go straight into terminal like you can see right here, and you would just drop the terminal command HermesPetsList, and that would list all of them, and then you can switch between them. Obviously, it's not going to show all 3,000 or one go, but you can use this to actually limit it or change the numbers and search for them, and then you can select whichever one you want, which is pretty cool.
By the way, this is just one little slice of what I'm going to show you today, and we've got five things to run through, so it's pretty cool. Now, the next version is the Learn Update, and this again just dropped from News Research Today. So when they do drop Hermes V018, which will probably come out this week, because usually they drop one per week, and last week it was V017, this is the new Learn Update. And essentially what this means is that Hermes Agent can learn from anything. So let me show you an example of this.
And by the way, you want to make sure you run Hermes Update to get all this stuff, so you can just run forward slash Hermes Update inside your terminal to get access to all this stuff. So what you can do here is you can say forward slash learn, and then you give it access to a guide. So for example, I actually gave it this guide on the Agent Operating System that we run Hermes from, and basically that now has a new session where it's learned everything from that guide, right? So it can read the guide, it can learn from it, but here's the most important part, it actually adds it and saves it as a new skill. So if you have a guide, for example, about lead generation, like Hermes, learn about lead generation, you send it the guide, it can go off and do it. If you like Hermes, learn about SEO, it can go off and do it, right? Anything that you want it to learn, it can learn it and then save it as a skill, so you can recall that skill whenever you want to. So here's an example, we did the daily wind log and it will pen today's date in one sentence and add it to our winds.md file. Basically, you can show Hermes doc, a folder or a job you just walked through, say one word and it learns, it writes itself a clean, reusable skill that it keeps forever. So there's no more re-explaining the same workflow every session and this is pretty easy and simple to set up. So literally, it can learn from anything, you teach it once you keep it forever and you don't need to write any code. You literally just say forward slash learn, read this and then boom shakalaka, it can go off and read it. Next up, this is something that I've actually set up personally, and this is a really cool feature that I think is absolutely amazing. So we have Hermes Oracle here, and this is basically a 24-7 watcher on the news. So you can see that we can consult the Oracle. It's based on trending news from Twitter. So we've actually used GROK, OAuth with Hermes as a new profile we've created. This section called the Oracle, and I really want to show you this because number one, it's a great example of how you can customize Hermes exactly how you want it. And if you click on any of these, it will actually take you to the news section. So this is update number three, and it will take you directly to the news that you want to learn from. Now you can also see when you last consulted, the Oracle, when it wakes up, so it actually wakes up at 6 a.m. every day, it automatically logs all the new updates to Obsidian, to our memory. And then here's where it gets crazy. We can go straight to this tweet, like so. We can quote it.
