N8N VS Agentic Operating Systems!

So, one of the questions that I've been getting a lot recently is, do I still use N8N? And if not, what's replaced it? So, let's get straight into this.

N8N, if you're not familiar with, it's basically like a system where you can plug in all your agents together. You see an example right here. And basically, you can have your agents running inside a workflow. And the actual automations, number one, were amazing. And number two, like, look absolutely beautiful, as you can see right here. The problem is that in reality, number one, as cool as they look, quite often you don't use them that much. And I'll come on to the reason why in a second. But number two, there's actually a much easier way to build custom automations that's way more fun, way more interesting, and way easier. So with that, let's get straight into this. So what you can see, this is an example of a social media posting system for N8N.

And you can see how complex it is. It's pretty wild.

It's confusing, it's a little bit too much, pretty hard to organize, and you have to configure every single one of these different nodules, as you can see right here, these different modules.

But the problem is with that, is like it can be quite complex, tricky, time consuming, and a little bit frustrating. You also need to know stuff like HTTPS to be able to use it properly. Now, N8N, they do have a system where you can describe what you want, and then you can build it from there. So they can add like this no-code system. But if you're going to do that, you might as well just go straight to Codex, or ChatGPT, or Astra, where you can just use your existing subscription, and you don't need to plug any APIs. And that's one of the things that I found with N8N in general, is like, number one, you need a lot of APIs, and number two, you are manually configuring stuff that's super time consuming and often breaks. What I'm going to show you instead is a system that we've got over here, where you can build custom workflows similar to N8N, but number one, they have a nice UI on the front end. So instead of, for example, looking something like this, it looks something like this, which I think is way more beautiful, way more interesting. And number two, like I don't have to log in to check the automations, I've got it inside one dashboard. So what you can see over on the left-hand side here is a mission control system. It's an Agent Operating System, where all our agents work together. And this is essentially what's replaced N8N for me over the last, I would say, six months, three to six months. And so with this system, essentially we can build something that's actually more complex than what we've got on the right-hand side, but we can build it in a more simplistic way, which means that we can move faster, less things break, and it's easier to control. So for example, with this Agentic Operating System, we have custom automations for SEO, which you can see right here. Now if I was to build that inside N8N, it would look very, very complex. But if we build it with a beautiful UI like this, then the back end is complex, my AI agents handle it for me, so I don't need to configure anything manually, and we've got a nice UI on the front end. Now you probably can do that with N8N, you can probably create like a nice UI on the front end for your automations, but it's not all gonna be in one place, and it's not all gonna work as smoothly, something like this. You kind of need like an agent to build it out for you. And so this is essentially what's replaced N8N for me. So it's easier to use and simpler.

We can build more complex automations that require less messing around and less configuring. We can build a beautiful UI onto the actual automation that we create instead of using N8N. And if I want to add anything new into my Agentic Operating System, I just go into the agent and I describe what I want. And it's already built into this dashboard. So for example, if I want to build like an ad studio, which is something I built out last week into the system, literally all I do is I go into ChatGPT. I'm like, hey, can you build this? Can you build that? Can you add this? Can you add that, et cetera? So it's pretty simple and easy. I can just say, OK, build out this Web Design OS, build out a new app inside there. And I can quickly add new apps. You can't really do that with N8N.
