Let's see here. Okay, so we're going to have Patreon questions, and it says some quick fires here, and I forgot to talk about one thing, so. Credible3, they're not aging up the kids.
**Dylan** (0:10)
GI.
**SPEAKER_1** (0:10)
Joe, you got a movie. Danny McBride's directing. Remember to be starring Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Alton Goggins. And then I'm going to talk about this right now, then 30 of you guys, and then we're going to do the questions that we had here. I didn't talk about my Queen of the Dam trailer. That happened today, I was very excited.
If you all don't know, obviously I've been talking about a lot. Big fan of the Interview of the Vampire, and Lestat just ended last week. And it was like a couple weeks ago, where the show runner, they asked about season four. He's like, oh, I don't know. But if we go to Comic Con, that means there's a good shot. And I was getting a little worried because the first 10 minutes of the panel, they're just playing highlights from the concert of Lestat, like when he performed live in front of people. And then it was just the cast like kind of answering like some fun questions. I was like, oh brother, what's going to happen? And then we got this trailer for Queen of the Dam. Very excited. This is like their Thanos in the interview of the Vampire World. This person coming to Kasha. They set her up this season.
Taylor said he was going to watch. I showed him all the review scores, showed him all this stuff. The show has been renewed for season four.
**Taylor** (1:11)
I'm getting there.
**SPEAKER_1** (1:12)
The show has now been renewed for season four. Best reviews, best viewer. I got Goldface Kyle last night. He said he started to watch it. So just like Will Bay.
**Dylan** (1:18)
I'll watch it before Kirkland does.
**SPEAKER_1** (1:20)
Well, that's not a big.
**Taylor** (1:22)
I'll watch it after Kirkland does.
**SPEAKER_1** (1:24)
Oh no, Dylan's gonna be a dead man when he sees this fucking show. No, I recommend everybody. No, it's of two things. I'm very excited. I love this trailer. It seemed like the show is going more in a horror realm, which is interesting. The only thing which I'll talk about probably next week, I'm going to do a Lestat ranking episodes. I might dive more into once we go more details. They are changing showrunners in between seasons. It's been the same showrunner for three seasons, and now it's changing.
And that's, it's interesting. The person that's the showrunner now is a head writer, so it's fine. Like it's someone that does have a lot of experience with the show. I'm just always somebody that's permanently scarred when Dexter changed showrunners from season four to five. Big moment with Trinity, and then the follow up season, it felt like they really had no idea what they're doing. I don't think that is the case now. I trust this writer way more than I ever trusted Scott Buck.
So that was an interesting note, but yeah, I was very excited. The full album came out today, so I was just over the moon with that news. The news I was not over the moon with, Incredible Three, I say this in jest, Brad Bird, fuck you. He gave this quote where he's like, yeah, people just keep telling me it's going to be more interesting and it'll be more fun when we age up the kids, but that's not where the juice is. I had to pull the quote. I just like-
**Dylan** (2:37)
I doubt he said that's not where the juice is. That feels like a very GeekVerse-coded quote.
**SPEAKER_1** (2:44)
I'll bring it up. But I was just like, man, like already the quality of 2 made me question 3
But him saying this is like, I just, I don't know. It just does. I just feel like we did not progress that much in 2 So it feels like we're really not going to progress anything in 3
Here we go. This is what people keep thinking that aging them up is going to make them somehow hipper or cooler or more like them. And it's like, no, it won't.
I guess I'm not looking for them to be hipper. I'm not looking for them to be cooler. I'm looking for them to fucking evolve as characters and change and not just cat. And you know why? I get it. Because Brad Bird, you made Tomorrowland and it fucking bombed. And then you made this movie for Netflix. And they're like, we're not putting the theaters. We're putting in David Fincher's Cliff Booth movie. Sorry. Like, I just feel like it's like, well, got to make that Jack Jack money, right? And it's just like, I'll do incredible stream. Disney's like, but he's still gonna be a baby, right? Like, yeah, well, he's gonna be a toddler. Okay, he'll be a toddler. Even then, I will accept. I worry he's just gonna be that cute fucking little baby. And of course, I'm on the soapbox for nothing. I'm not gonna boycott. My kids want to see this. I'm not a shit parent. But if I did not have the kids, I would not be giving this a single cent, because when I saw that, I was like, you gotta be kidding me. And on the GI. Joe front, I think this will go the way of He-Man. I like Danny McBride. He's apparently a very passionate guy at GI. Joe, has all these collections and comic books. I don't know what Bradley Cooper's doing with his career. He did a Star Wars born, and now he's in this and the Ocean's 11 prequel. His agent is not treating well. I know he's been divorced, so I don't know if he's just trying to cash in. Hang on. I don't know if that's it. I don't know if it's just like sometimes that happens.
