This is Money Moves on VSiN, the sports betting network.

This is Money Moves, VSiN, the sports betting network alongside Jonathan Von Tobel. I'm Stormy Buonantony. We are holding it down for the next two hours. Live as always in downtown Las Vegas, Circa, Resort and Casino. Hopefully brighter times here than there were the dark times in Tallahassee yesterday. My goodness.

Jonathan Von Tobel (0:25)

Yeah, it was cool. I mean, I guess, I didn't understand it.

SPEAKER_4 (0:27)

It was cool?

Jonathan Von Tobel (0:28)

I mean, well, I always like when, like, just things go wrong, but I just didn't really understand. Every time they showed the field, it looked like it was adequately lit, at least for a football game.

SPEAKER_4 (0:37)

So I guess there were other intricacies of lighting.

Stormy Buonantony (0:39)

Like they were kind of detailing on the broadcast. It was coming back in stages. So, yes, they had it lit on the field, but you still need power to certain things. And I mean, just the fact that for the whole first half, you don't have, you don't have the play clock, you don't have the PA, you don't have the headset communications, all of these things that people have become so accustomed to having over the last few years.

Jonathan Von Tobel (0:57)

And I mean, it's a classic sense, I would say.

Stormy Buonantony (1:00)

It's back to the dark ages.

Jonathan Von Tobel (1:01)

That's right. I do think those...

Stormy Buonantony (1:02)

Where were the leather helmets?

Jonathan Von Tobel (1:04)

I do think it was funny that, you know, on the heels of the Western Michigan Michigan final on Saturday, in which time was an issue, then there is an issue with the electronics of the clock and they have to put on the broadcast. How do they phrase it? You know, time is being kept on the field. This is not the official clock. Absolute nonsense.

Stormy Buonantony (1:21)

Ben Stevens, who hosts on the weekends here, he tweeted out, I'll tell you one thing, there's not a chance of me trusting this game clock tonight right away. That thing did numbers. We'll recount more of that game in a moment, but we do have a lot to set the table for, that is to come, plenty of college football, plenty of NFL. Let's run it all down.

Adam Burke (1:39)

It's time for the top headlines and topics of the day. This is the rundown.

Stormy Buonantony (1:44)

JVT, now that week one is in the books, we will fully push forward to week two in college football. Look at some poll position here, top 25 teams in action this week. Some of the more notable moves, intriguing lines this week, and our first true breakdown of the big one, Texas, Ohio State.

Jonathan Von Tobel (2:00)

Yeah, we get some good ranked on ranked action this weekend and some really interesting matchups that do involve ranked teams. I got to tell you, you're going to be on the sideline for the Georgia Tech contest against Tennessee, but the team we had last week is in a really interesting spot on the road against Kentucky, a team that might have some upside. So I'm really interested. There's a lot of these top 25 games and we're obviously really intrigued by them because they're considered the best in the country, but there's some interesting slip up spots. And I do think there is one ranked team that might be in a little bit of trouble against an unranked opponent. And that ranked team is at home. So we'll talk about that.

Stormy Buonantony (2:34)

I do think it's interesting though, that you bring up that Alabama Kentucky matchup because I've already seen some people on social media saying, could this be an upset watch for the tide? I don't know if I'd go that far.

Jonathan Von Tobel (2:44)

I don't believe it.

Stormy Buonantony (2:45)

Okay.

Jonathan Von Tobel (2:45)

I think Keelan Russell is going to be freaking awesome. And I think this Alabama team, let the record show again. I was the only one that picked them to win the national championship here at the Vegas stats and information network.

Stormy Buonantony (2:56)

I do appreciate JVT taking the PSA that I have put out there. It's Keelan Russell, not Keelan Russell, ladies and gentlemen.

Jonathan Von Tobel (3:03)

I went automatically with Keelan when I first saw the name. So I don't know why people would go Keelan, but whatever.

Stormy Buonantony (3:09)

He's too nice to correct people. So I told him I would, much like I am.

Jonathan Von Tobel (3:12)

Keelan Russell and I have two things in common.
