Our two Money Moves come in your way. Stormy Buonantony, Jonathan is always in downtown Las Vegas, home of the world's largest sports book at Circa Resort and Casino. We got lots of line moves to discuss with Ball from week one to week two, where are we looking ahead to already? We're going to look at where the Heisman Market has moved in a little bit this hour as well. And we're just 48 hours away from kicking off the NFL season, which is crazy to believe. It's actually kind of fun that we're getting it going on a Wednesday this week.
Jonathan Von Tobel (0:43)
Yes, it is.
Stormy Buonantony (0:45)
See, I don't like a big picture. That's not something I want to become normal. But for week one, for a specialty week, I like it. That Tuesday is legitimately the only week we don't have a major football game on.
Jonathan Von Tobel (0:53)
It's going to become normal.
Stormy Buonantony (0:54)
So don't say that.
Jonathan Von Tobel (0:55)
Just get used to it. Don't say that. What are you talking about? They're clearly gearing for doing this.
Stormy Buonantony (0:59)
We don't.
Jonathan Von Tobel (1:00)
We're going to have a football game every day of the week.
Stormy Buonantony (1:02)
It's already saturated enough. I don't need that much.
Jonathan Von Tobel (1:05)
Just saying. You know what the NFL is. And talking about, was it Goodell? Was it two weeks ago? Talked about having a team based out across the park. Internationally.
Stormy Buonantony (1:15)
Let's save that conversation for another day. I do have opinions, but we don't need to get into it now. We'll also have Best Bets at the end of the hour, like we always do here to close the show. But let's get into, do you approve this move?
Jonathan Von Tobel (1:28)
Let's see where the odds are moving today, and do you approve this move?
Stormy Buonantony (1:33)
All right, Jamie team, we have a ton of line movement to discuss. Rutgers fresh off the shocking home loss to UMass.
Taking on the Who's Worst Bowl this week, visiting Boston College. No movement on the line, BC minus three and a half, but a two-point move on the total under. Also, Michigan, Oklahoma. We already talked about how rough the Wolverines looked in their opener. We've seen this thing go from a one and a half point favorite for the Sooners out to six and a half now. We mentioned the quote that we have already seen from our guy Kyle Whittingham on Bryce Underwood's performance to this point, not a ringing endorsement. How do you see this one? Do you approve the move?
Jonathan Von Tobel (2:10)
It seems extreme, doesn't it?
Oklahoma, Michigan. I just, again, you're never really as bad as your lowest moment. It was a bad performance. I understand all of this, but I would assume you're downgrading Michigan here. I don't think you're upgrading Oklahoma for beating the absolute, you know what, out of, what was it, UTEP last week.
Stormy Buonantony (2:28)
But I think if you're, at least in my opinion, if you have a struggling quarterback, the last thing you want to see is Oklahoma's defense at home.
Jonathan Von Tobel (2:36)
Well, I was going to say, yeah, and on the road too, so that's something. I mean, look, I get it. I don't know if I'm going to be able to bite. We'll see how far this gets.
SPEAKER_1 (2:42)
If you get me to seven and a half.
Stormy Buonantony (2:44)
If you got the one and a half though early, you're feeling pretty good about yourself.
Jonathan Von Tobel (2:48)
Get me to seven and a half maybe, just maybe.
Stormy Buonantony (2:50)
All right.
Penn State, the first look at Iowa State Northeast, fair to say was a success again. So, Marshall yet the market moving against them from 24.5 to 23.5 total move from 51 to 49.5 as well. Western Kentucky at Georgia. Georgia finally covered a big number. We talked about that going into the weekend though.
Tennessee State is bad, bad. Georgia was going to put up 50 without even blinking and they did 163 to 3 So, they're bet up from 38.5 to 40.5. Total as well from 52.5 to 54.5. How about Arizona at BYU? Despite the great performance from the Cougars against Utah Tech, they win 63.7. Bear Bachmeier had a day. It's going the other way. Arizona getting a little bit of early love. Still over that key number though of 7, 7.5.
