What's up and welcome in to a Football Friday edition of Money Moves. JVT flying solo as usual on a Friday. Stormy Bonatoni out on the road. She'll be on the sideline for Mississippi State at LSU.

Questions around what's going on at the quarterback position for the Bulldogs. We'll have to find out what's going on. I think at some point we'll shoot Stormy a text. I know she's got meetings here today. 16 and a half, the point spread for the Tigers. Total of 56 and a half. And don't fret, just because Stormy is not here does not mean that we're not going to have a great show. And because she's not here, we have to fill the void with a lot of smart people. Mike Palm's going to join us here in a couple of minutes. VP of Operations, Serk of the D, Golden Gate, have to get his thoughts on the WNBA Finals, which gets started tomorrow. And what we're going to see over the next couple of days in football. Got some hockey thoughts we got to get. Little hawk talk if we got time with Palm coming up in about 15 minutes. Will Hill hosted the Show to Bet More podcast and as usual time here on the show as well. And Nick Whalen, nice little addition today, senior analyst over at Roto Wire News in the Association, which we're going to throw at Palm as well, about sports books and the league getting together and certain types of bets and wagers. We'll see what it actually means, which ones are actually being banned. And some of them, I don't really buy. It seems somewhat performative. We'll talk about it with Mike and with Nick coming up throughout the show. And then the Hoosier himself, Wes Reynolds will join us here. His Hoosiers have a big one. Indiana taking on Ohio State. I think that Indiana is in for a waction, but let's say what Wes has to say about that coming up in the second hour. But we start our program with what we saw last night, Thursday Night Football and a bad start for ourselves here on the contest. Denver Broncos snag a victory from the jaws of defeat. Walk off the Seattle Seahawks 17 to 14 courtesy of a 53 yard field goal from Will Lutz. Betting result, Broncos as a two and a half point dog. Get the cash, went out right at about plus 130 on the money line under the total of 40 and a half. And it's to me at least hard not to feel jaded with the result that we saw from last night, given some of the numbers that we had. Seattle ended up out gaining Denver 353 to 168

First downs, 24 to 13 advantage for the Seattle Seahawks. How about net yards per play? Seattle, of course, per play basis, outgained Denver by 1.4 yards per snap.

But there's an easy thing to do here. Bo Nix was not good, but we'll get to that. Because while Bo Nix is gonna be part of the story of what transpired yesterday, it's hard not to focus on Seattle first and foremost, because Darnold was worse in bigger spots than Bo Nix was throughout the entirety of the game. See, I'm Darnold last night, 27 to 51, 278 yards, just five and a half yards per attempt through the air, no touchdowns, two interceptions, and three turnover-worthy plays for Darnold, who has clearly regressed here. Under pressure last night, he was even worse. 27 dropbacks considered under pressure, eight of 22, 73 yards, 3.3 yards per attempt, no touchdowns, one interception, and two of his three turnover-worthy plays were committed while he was under pressure. Humans always says it, I always give them the credit. Quarterbacks never really do well under pressure to begin with, but there are some quarterbacks who handle it better, and Darnold has not been good throughout his career under pressure, last night it looked again like old Sam Darnold, but now for the season, as the Seahawks are three and three on the season, not looking particularly great, 60.4% completion, 60.4, want to emphasize that, completion percentage for Sam Darnold, 6.9 yards per attempt, six touchdowns, seven interceptions, and he's throwing an interceptible pass on 5.7% of his past attempts so far.

I asked the question in my notes, is it time to turn to Drew Locke? Mike McDonald has already put the kibosh on that, Sam Darnold is going to be their guy, but you do have to wonder if this is being squandered right now, and this being the season for Seattle, in three losses this season, the Seattle Seahawks outgained their opponents collectively by 346 total yards, average plus 1.2 net yards per play, but they have committed 10 turnovers, and they're minus seven in the turnover differential column when it comes to these losses that they have suffered. They have wildly outperformed their opponents in the three losses, and yet the turnovers have been a massive problem for them, and Darnold has been front and center, and you better fix it quick. You got a two-game homestand coming up if you're the Seattle Seahawks. It's home versus the Chiefs, and it's home versus the Bears. And those are two opponents, and one would assume, because Caleb Williams, we'll talk about that a little bit later, his status for this weekend's still somewhat up in the air. We don't know exactly what's gonna happen with him, but you can assume, because we're getting closer and closer, that by the time you take on Chicago, they will be at full strength with Williams there. This is not an easy road to hoe if you are Sam Darnold and the Seahawks. Adjusted win totals who move forward 9.5 shaded to the over at minus 140 Playoffs, they're still $1.56 favorite to make it into the postseason, and plus $6.40 to win the NFC West. Seems like a near impossible task at this point, and the conference at plus $6.90.
