Happy Wednesday, Stormy Buonantony, Jonathan Von Tobel. Coming to you live, as always, from downtown Las Vegas Circa Resort and Casino, the home of the world's largest sportsbooks. We have a great two hours on deck for you, and we are starting the day on a very interesting note. Leave it to JVT to always come to the table with something interesting and unique and unexpected. Mere moments ago, you were showing me highlights of a 40 and over basketball league in India and the level of play, unbelievable.

Jonathan Von Tobel (0:47)

The fundamentals were strong, actually. I think that when you watch the video, which I'll retweet right now up on XMT.

Stormy Buonantony (0:53)

It's awesome. It's so awesome.

Jonathan Von Tobel (0:55)

But I also think too, and I said this to you earlier, you did not watch it, Michael. I'm sure you did not watch it either, which is very disappointing for a team from Rodnery and whatnot. But that's fine. You guys disappoint me every day.

Stormy Buonantony (1:05)

This coming from the guy who put Do Not Disturb on our group chat the other day.

Jonathan Von Tobel (1:08)

Did I really?

Stormy Buonantony (1:09)

You told me that.

Jonathan Von Tobel (1:10)

Oh, well, yes, because I was taking a nap and you guys were like going back and forth on a Sunday. And then I screamed.

Stormy Buonantony (1:15)

Oh, you mean on a Sunday when we're supposed to be watching the National Football League?

Jonathan Von Tobel (1:17)

Screamed into the abyss. All right.

Stormy Buonantony (1:19)

We're tweeting about games that are on in the moment.

Jonathan Von Tobel (1:20)

Back and forth the whole time. I didn't tell Michael that I did that. But either way, yeah, I re-tweeted. Look, here's the bottom line. The NBA season starts in six days.

Your brother's starving. I'm ready for some hoops. I'm ready for some basketball. I was watching it. There was a clean moment in this highlight video of this over 40 Indian League where a dude gets a very clean baseline jumper. Pretty elix to actually pass it in the middle, much like Ben Simmons. And I was like, man, their name and Ben Simmons, a starter in Sacramento. I just keep thinking about all these things. So I'm ready for some basketball.

Stormy Buonantony (1:48)

I straight up expected these guys to be total ballers, by the way. And then I actually begin watching the video and the guy's walking down the court with one hand on his hip.

SPEAKER_1 (1:57)

He's so tired.

Stormy Buonantony (1:59)

Oh my goodness. But yes, that's a great segue, by the way, just to remind our audience that our NBA betting guide is officially out now. It's less than a week away for tip off for the NBA season. It's gonna be fun to see the Knicks on banner night and all of that good stuff.

That said, we do have a lot to come here on the program. So let's set the table with the rundown, everything we've got going on today.

SPEAKER_1 (2:19)

It's time for the top headlines and topics of the day. This is the rundown.

Stormy Buonantony (2:24)

Very excited for our guests on today's show, JVT, Dustin Fox and Kendall Valenzuela. Kendall, in her usual Wednesday spot, does a great job over at Fantasy Life. Gonna help us break down the Week 6 fantasy football options and some potential prop betting angles we can look at. Dustin, meanwhile, former Buckeye. So we will get his thoughts on one of the biggest games of the weekend in Ohio State and Indiana, as well as the game he's gonna be calling this week for ESPN, very excited for all of the College Football talk we have ahead.

Jonathan Von Tobel (2:51)

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the analysis on Ohio State, Indiana. It seems too easy. And sometimes it is, sometimes it really isn't. And it seems like there's a lot of people that have the same thoughts that you and I do about this Indiana team, about what Ohio State could do. Obviously, we've got to talk about Jeremiah Smith.

Seems well on his way to winning the Heisman. The betting market would say that, your eyeballs would say that, and well on his way to maybe being the greatest college football wide receiver of all time.

Stormy Buonantony (3:13)

He's odds on at this point over $2 to win the Heisman. And yet, if you remember this time last year, Fernando Mendoza, who went on to win it, was in the 15 to one range. So who's to say that what happens in weeks six and seven is the end of the line? There's still a whole lot of football left to be played. I mentioned Dustin's game coming up this weekend. He's actually working one of the West Coast games, Wake Forest at Cal coming up on Saturday. And we've got West Coast bias on deck, like we do each and every Wednesday.
