I'm here with Chris Ying, and I have two good friends coming, Joe House and Cousin Sal. We have producer Dave right there. Today, we're doing a little moif where we're talking about money, and we're gonna have an inappropriate dinner conversation about money as well. All the things that you want to ask, we're going to endeavor to try to ask without offending anybody and getting ourselves in trouble from the polite police.
And I made something that I've never made before, and it's fucking delicious. And the only reason I made it is because Bill Simmons knows how to get me to do something food wise. And I made a pork smash burger. We'll tell you how to do it. So I have a couple funny stories about wealth, one that I think about a lot.
I got to know a very normal, very down-to-earth, and you would never know that this individual is extraordinarily wealthy. I won't even say what country in Asia they're from. But I remember watching in New York, crazy rich Asians with my friend.
And he said, yeah, it's fine, but it's not very believable because they're not rich enough.

But it's almost like when you watch a food movie or something, you're like, well, that's not realistic. You watched crazy rich Asians with a literal crazy rich Asian, and they were like, not realistic.

Not rich enough. Would never happen.

That's so... That's absurd, man.

But to his family's credit, they're very charitable. They're not monsters, you know. But it was just one of the funniest things. I'm like, well, that's something.

So when you're that level of crazy rich, are you always flaunting wealth?

They don't flaunt.

They have members in their family that do. But how should I say this without revealing anything?
My friend has said that to be at a certain level of wealth, the one that he thinks that they try to perpetuate and others, is you would never know that they're rich. It's like a pathological thing. It's almost like a corporation to some degree where they will not allow, like from the earliest age, everyone thought that this guy was the poorest kid in school. Interesting. Because he drove in a Toyota instead of everything else.

His family was Toyota. When you get to a certain level then, does that mean you're so wealthy?
