By the way, do you get a little more excited for the second hour?

Michelle Beatle (0:12)

Like, how do you feel?

Mo Hassan (0:13)

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Matthew Berry (0:15)

A thousand percent. So right, it is one o'clock on the East Coast, but it is five o'clock somewhere, which means Fantasy Football Happy Hour is officially underway. It is happy hour here in the lounge as well.

Yeah, so very excited about it. Let's get into it. Michelle Beatle, Mo Hassan, I am Matthew Berry, your friendly neighborhood bartender as well. Big Monday Night Football game. It is Waverwire Tuesday. And of course, coming up later in the show, we've got some early line alerts for some bets that we like.

Michelle Beatle (0:44)

Yeah, we're going to get to all that, but as you just said, it was Monday Night Football last night. It was a fun game, an unpredictable one, probably for most. Case Kingdom came in and did work, which is interesting because now what does that do as far as optimism and hey, Caleb can maybe take a little bit of time?

Matthew Berry (0:59)

Yeah, I mean, to me, that was the biggest thing, is that the Bears player that we cared about, right?

The Luther Burden. We'll get to Colston Loveland in a second. But in terms of Luther Burden, in terms of the running game, in terms of even Roma-Dunze, this offense looked very functional under Case Kingdom. So whether it's Case Kingdom or Tyson Bagen, I don't know how you go away from Case Kingdom after what he did last night. You feel good about your Bears players, especially when you think about the fact they're home to the Jets next week. Then they're at Green Bay. That's not a defense that scares you. Then they're at the Falcons, right? Defense played better on Thursday night, but still you're not being like, ooh, scary, scary. So until Caleb Williams comes back, like good job Case Kingdom, Ben Johnson, you're awesome. This is his most fantasy points in the game since week one of 2019, when Keenan was with my commanders as well. Now again, it was a bunch of dink and dunk stuff. The average depth of target was under five yards, but it doesn't matter. He ran Ben Johnson's offense.

Mo Hassan (1:57)

Absolutely.

I'm expecting it to be a few weeks. You mentioned Beijing. I think that's actually really interesting because they're really high on him. I know. They paid him as one of the highest twos in the league because they feel like he's one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the NFL. And I've known a bunch of guys that have been around him, and they absolutely love him as well as a gamer. I don't know how you go away from Case the way he played. You get a big win against the Vic Fangio defense, one of the top coordinators in the NFL. He mentioned how good he was against the Blitz. Perfect 11 of 11 with two touchdowns. They've shifted the offense schematically. We're going to talk about how that affects some of the other guys, the receivers and Loveland as well. But again, anyone playing quarterback for Ben Johnson, I am not concerned about this offense.

Matthew Berry (2:37)

Thousand percent, by the way, not to rub it into everyone out there, but Case Keenum after this game, after one game, Case Keenum now has more passing touchdowns on the year than Drake May.

Mo Hassan (2:45)

Wow.

Matthew Berry (2:45)

And he has more rushing touchdowns than Saquon Barkley.

Mo Hassan (2:48)

That isn't absurd stuff. If I told you that before the season, what would you say? It is that.

Matthew Berry (2:54)

We'll talk more about the Bears. All I'll just say about the Eagles, bad day at the office, but I'm not worried about Jalen Hurts. He's going to be fine. He bailed out with a rushing touchdown. Saquon's going to be fine.

Devontae Smith is going to be fine. Tough game for Dontavi and Wicks, but ultimately, I just think they will, this will come up later in the show, but I think the Eagles will bounce back at home against the Rams, and everyone's like, but I'm telling you, every single year, the Eagles make some stupid, terrible loss, and everyone panics, and everyone's just like, oh, it's over for the Eagles, and sports radio's going to go crazy all this week in Philadelphia. I love sports radio. And you know what? And then the Eagles end up winning another game, and it's going to be just fine in Philadelphia.

Michelle Beatle (3:36)

Mo, if I say duh, Bears, do you know what that's from?
